I have noticed that taxing the Apache and locking the wheels again after unlocking tried running 5 and 10+ meters to make sure its locked. When applying the breaks and re-setting and pressing and holding trim mode to re-set scas, the helicopter's tail wheel will ( even locked) slide to the right slowly where it should have been stopped. >>Easy to replicate: Taxi normally then unlock and stay centered for a while, lock it the tail wheel and move a few meters to make sure it's locked and reset trim then stop the aircraft. With the helicopter fully stopped you will notice that the tail wheel will move right , nose will move left even without trimming in the first place. tested with both trimmed / un-trimmed @ 0 winds.

With the FCR update in December 2023 and their upcoming option to request the installment of the FCR via the ground crew menu, it could be nice if you could remove the ir deflector too! at least it would look realistic on other nations that also have the apache but don't have the ir deflector. The Japanese paint needs to be weathered down a bit, in real life it is bright but in dcs is more brighter. Maybe a more washed out version?

The camera angle, focal point /zoom / lens size/depth of field etc also the height of the photo vs screenshot also plays into the equation. try comparing from a lower angle as if someone was taking a picture. The pilots would look taller on the cockpit. Made them look a bit taller from my pov. F4 camera used . Mouse /track ir + [*] and [/]controls were used. I know i am not a tall girl (1meter 59cm tall) but the apache is huge !! so the pilots! tried to calculate the average 1m80cm height of a tall person ( ground crew pov) -

George wont slave on FXD sometimes when you request de-slaving it will either break and you can't hit safe ARM he will re-arm the aircraft " aircraft armed" until you change his weapons and ask him to de-slave / weapons safe. Sometimes his tads will drift and he wont slave to FXD position. -

Problem occurs only happens on servers that have srs enabled, before the in game VOIP be a thing. Servers without srs does not present white noise transmission, having voip enabled/disable does not makes white noise, tested squelch and still produces white noise on servers with SRS. -
On pilot seat in some servers it shows -25 for example but not the letter G-25 in this case.

I have noticed that my own helicopter does not produce as much dust as the other players helicopters @ max graphics. -

Having the same problem. Whenever i equip the Center Tank, and come back after an engagement, when i ask to refuel it will not do a full refuel. EVEN if i change to 1200 rounds, rearm and refuel and try get the center tank back, it will have the same amount of fuel "2700~2900~ instead of 3100 ish" yes, it is above 2500 with no center fuel but still annoys me ps: i always come bingo fuel after a lengthy engagement, so 2 hours of flight, can't upload track files, too lenghty but it can be reproduced. -

WAS missile with the FCR sight. It will change it for you . If you are within the TADS sight it will not let you, unless your cpg changes it for you or you ask George. Not related but a cool tip: when reaching AO select ALL missiles if you are doing a quick engagement, set to AUTO if your engagement is lengthy, planned and methodical. -

What is the altitude you are dropping them? tried to check inventory on sms and control page? change the altitude that you can drop, usually i drop at 15k, usually its 28k before turning on systems. make sure you press shift+k and change the code of your laser bomb, then start normally and load your planes with these gbus. 99% OF THE TIME people will use the 1688 code i use the 1113 ( fc3 friendly) i can designate tgts for any fc3 plane. go to your icp and go to laser code: func 0>5> use the code you set on shift+k before turning on your plane. go to a/g mode , then click sms then select ccrp , click on ctrl THEN LADD/ from 25000 ft type 1000 nullreduce tof = time of flight to around 15 ~20seconds ( deppending on how fast you are) enjoy. -
Yeah, it is okay I know about the K, I was talking about the missile variations k2 and I forgot to mention k2a as well. The in-sim name only has a K label/name to it and i was mentioning that your post probably corrected an assumption I've had about the time period of when the d block II was introduced in active service. I do not know if it took place in 2003 or 2005 when this model got in service and i tried to correct myself using your information because it looks right/accurate. Wanted to make sure and follow the current in-sim model's information with all the accuracy possible from multiple sources (ED devs since they have the right source since they are working on the module itself with the right information). In my opinion, i think devs and real apache pilots and maintenance crews have more knowledge about these subjects and info about the modules more than us costumers/users. And i thought you were one dev when you posted it, AND again, it is okay! even if you weren't a dev back then, your info looked more correct than my assumptions /knowledge. I know we have the K MODEL, i want to know if the K model has the k2 and k2a already or if it will come, because we already have the K ( or at least it shows on the crew armament window). K-2 adds insensitive munitions (IM) < Idk what is that K-2A adds blast-fragmentation sleeve. <THIS I KNOW And i wanted to know about the the M and N versions. Thanks!

Will the M,N and K2 be added too? They were all available used during the time frame specified that the D blk II variant was flying. (2005~2010) AGM-114M Hellfire II (Blast Frag) Produced: 1998–2010 AGM-114N Hellfire (MAC) Produced: 2003–2018 Thanks. Suggestions for the hellfire versions based on Raptor9's comment to be more realistic with in sim version we have currently. (I thought we had the apache D blk II from 2003~2015 in service).

Just got killed by a f5 at night around 1am on the server around 15feet at 30kts, caucasus. too frustrating flying the apache where enemy bots can see and engage you no matter what. flying noe. (rage quitted) i keep getting killed they can also lock you at 0~1ft (was also hidden behind trees) screen shot taken 2 days ago. has been happening since ages. -

Even there is a video tutorial from schoolio64 and he is only using kilos so the problem is intermittent. I am doing some researches and have not found the culprit yet. the blades do not bend the way they did in the past with this new update. -

Try loading only hellfire Lima models. it still flickers even if you are not damaged. (free flight)
