Thanks for that very useful hint! The whole six-pack is skipped in this case. I now spawn on elevator 2 which I very much prefer in my single player missions. I had to look up on YouTube how to late activate but it's definitely doable.

Yes, I wondered that myself. Tbh, I don't have any real life experience but it was one of the first things I noticed when transitioning to this type. The hornet on the other hand lifts off on it's own.

With one of the earlier versions (not long ago) I lost all target coordinates of my PP targets somewhere in the transition from ground power to running engines. The same was true for laser codes. Since then I avoid ground power.

You can see on the SA page where the FLIR is looking. There is a small box which helps you slew close to a waypoint. I think it works good.

I was away from combat flight simming many years (around 15 I guess lol), owned Falcon 4.0 and Lock-On back in the days. I am coming back now and am rather thrilled to see the possibilities we have in today's DCS. Bought the F/A-18 C, which will keep me entertained for a while. I guess it's normal to have a break of something, although in hindsight I don't understand why mine was so long.

I always disable the map because of the poor contrast to the green lines. It's a pity...

Will try this next time. I had rather confusing results the few times I tried to drop JDAMs in PP mode, always on the right wing. I hope the devs have an eye on this.
