This is good timing.. I noticed the old MB-339 Mod seems to crash my DCS more often than other planes. I am fine with this because I know that the official new and improved MB-339 is coming and I have plenty of patience and faith in this latest module.. thanks for the updates!

I just placed my order for the Tobii 5c, mainly because of the the last update that enabled 6DOF in DCS. Maybe it will arrive in "2 weeks" just in time for the new clouds.. lol Cheers.

For the most bang for your buck: F/A-18. However, as many have said before, get the plane that most excites you, because that will be a plane you want to learn and invest your time in. Good Luck!

I just tested using the The Clear Water version of the MOD and was able to see the Mi-8 sight. Furthermore I was also able to confirm that the The standard mod + @Taz1004 texture fixes version also made the sight invisible in the Mi-8 but it came back after I reinstalled the mod and that was strange! (Maybe rebuilding the fxo and megashaders2 contents in Saved Games was the fix?) Also as noted by @5ephir0th, the "Gazelle" helicopters rotors are invisible with this Mod and Helicopter Cockpit Glass is also missing. The new A4E Cockpit Red Radar Filter is also invisible with this shader mod. I did gain an average of 5 FPS! Moving forward I will just switch between different versions of this shader mod, Kegetys original mod and Mustangs 2.5.6_Shadereffects 1.3. I have little doubt that when ED releases Open Beta 2.7 and the new clouds, most of the shader mods will need to be updated or get deprecated.

LoL.. I forgot about that "handy" locking collar. I decided to not install it when I first got my stick because it was a pain to take off and put on. At the time of my mod I must have been to lazy to visit my storage locker to retrieve it but had that lonely hose clamp in my junk drawer. I think I want to look for some RC Car suspension shock absorber next and see if it makes a better helicopter cyclic. NO ETA..

Yes, that is a fair suggestion. For now I use the built in Chrome Browser keyboard commands like: Ctrl + Home and Ctrl + End to quickly go to the top or bottom of a long page.

If anyone is interested: I added a Joystick Bind for the AirBrake. It is good for anyone with an X55 or X56 that wants to use the Slider on the Throttle for Air Brake Retract and Extend. I just Inserted the line into the dafault.lua located in: \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft\A-4E-C\Input\joystick {down = iCommandPlaneAirBrakeOff, up = iCommandPlaneAirBrakeOn, name = _('Speedbrake Slider - CLOSE/OPEN'), category = {_('Throttle Grip')}}, -- for Slider Switch on X56/X55 or any 2 Position Switch |UP = Pressed & DOWN = Released| default.lua

I just downloaded the latest version A-4E-C 2.0-beta-1: Nice to see the better stall and F-14 like shake when turning at slow speed. It certainly does feel like a much different plane with the EFM. Nice selection of Instant Action Missions a liveries too! Thank you very much to the A-4E-C Community of Developers.

The Glitch is fairly easy to reproduce and it shows up nicely on track files. It is especially easy to see the glitching when you slow down a replay to 1/8, 1/16 and 1/64 speed. The positive side of me wants to hope that the NEW CLOUDS WILL SOLVE EVERYTHING.

I have seen DCS take a good few minutes when starting up for the first time after an update or changes to graphics settings via Mods. I will sometimes display the contents of the fxo and metashaders2 folders in my Saved Games. If I see files being updated or created with very current timestamps, I know that DCS is still rebuilding FXO and Metashaders in the background.

AV-8BNA Armament Control Panel: Graphics Off Has anyone else have the situation when in Landscape Mode the buttons on the far left and far right overlap? I have seen this on my Note 9, HUAWEI T5 and Nexus 10 Tablets. Looks like the graphic is not scaling properly when rotated.

On my System The Channel Map does render less FPS compared to Normandy. However, the Channel Map always looks great! Example: Flying 300-500 feet over a busy city The Channel gives me 6 to 10 less FPS compared to Normandy Flying very low skimming roof tops The Channel, sadly, gives me up to 20 FPS less than Normandy. This is all understandable because The Channel has many more buildings in their cities where Normandy has more trees in their cities. Conclusion: With my system - it does struggle in the parts of the Channel Map that are most densely populated with buildings. For example - around Dover Castle FPS can drop to an almost unplayable 35 FPS in my P-47. Normandy does not get the credit it now deserves since it received the major enhancements updates last year. DCS UFC has continued to improve over the last 8 months that I owned it. The Developer is constantly adding features and updates. I also purchased two Nexus 10 Android tablets from Kijiji.

The Touch Portal app is cool.. I had not heard of it until this post.. Thanks! For UFC and Panels of many planes in DCS I have also been using DCS UFC (Android app). The developer is very active, always adding new features and participating in his Forum Thread... etc..

Thanks@NineLine. Many of us are probably using the VR Friendly Prop Mod from Mnemonic. Maybe your graphics artists can save time and use some of the files provided in these mods.

Has anyone tried the Echo 19_FA18 Audio Overhaul v3.10 for external sounds? I installed it many months ago and have not done any comparisons with the new January 2021 updates vs this Mod. It may be fun for others to try.. Cheers.

As of OpenBeta Update from January 27, 2021 I just compared the latest M-2000C default.lua vs the older one. The file is located in DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Input\M-2000C\joystick. The Formatting has been completely changed but the new file also has 132 more lines which translates to many more keybindings. I don't fly M-2000C very much and was surprised that such an old module received so many new keybinds. I hope the latests updates to the M-2000C are successful.. Cheers.

The QuickStart Batumi - Airshow mission included in the free MB-339 is fantastic and fun. It would be nice if your team could create some extra QuickStart or even Training missions that show off the agility of the MB-339 in formation with 3 or 4 AI Planes. Example: Loops, Spins, Rolls Other Airshow formations that the Frecce-Tricolori are famous for.

Looking good - So far looks like this problem is resolved for me! I noticed that since the Dec 12, 2020 Open Beta patch ED did mention that they "Fixed random disappearance of airfield markings". DCS 2.5.6.59398 Open Beta - 17.12.2020
