  1. I have completely different approach than you guys, I like to learn the airplane in depth, I want to know the switches and why am I using them, I want know why is this JTAC asking me to do specific attack heading, I like details as well as flying, and I'm only interested in modern aircraft so for that reason I only own Viper, Hornet + SC and Apache, I have all maps except WW2, I love to fly around the maps and Ill probably buy all the upcoming maps, and FC3 pack. I hardly ever fly FC3 modules, I fly mostly in the Viper than Hornet, Apache is my relax module
  2. Still nothing here??
  3. I even noticed that when I update BIOS DCS asks to login again with my user name and password.
  4. In the main menu, top of the screen there is offline mode - click on the antenna button in the top panel of the main menu. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/authorization/
  5. Ok I can't argue there I only have youtube videos and no personal experience
  6. Well I don't think a post is close enough in IR specter to a Vehicle to not be distinguished by FLIR sensor, from all the videos I could find only vehicles and buildings seems to be distinguishable from everything else since they emit highest lvl of heat. So with 5 lvls of brightness it shows vehicles the brightest, and the rest is dark. It is not showing something that is not emitting heat the same as vehicles that emit heat. Few examples. altho youtube image quality is low.
  7. @Raptor9 I know FLIR is work in progress but those electric towers can not emit that much heat to be on pair with working moving vehicles. Same goes with fences etc...
  8. ED said they are working on ATC, but no ETA.
  9. Yea ED said they can't make anything Russian atm, cause some of their employees are living in Russia and would be in danger. Yes but we are getting older variants, not the most modern ones.
  10. What would be smart for ED is to make Rafale, Gripen, SU-27, 30, MiG 29, J-11 etc etc, tons of people want those planes, why not those planes then? ppl want them. even then you think making even modern Hornet (and we have legacy one, which is great) that is not on pair with any plane in DCS is a good idea... but that's an opinion, like yours is too.
  11. We already have it tho not on a plane, AN/FPS-117
  12. Probably not, I'd love if we get it but...
  13. Cant wait for the day when I can print it!
  14. There was even a petition which got few thousand ppl on it but they said no, I don't know french but I guess its their laws or money their are asking, but I guess they wont discuss it with the public. We can only speculate here, and dream on Edit: Remembered that in some interview with ED they said they want to do it but the french...
  15. Yea its getting rly annoying, almost if a butterfly claps its wings Viper loses its whole fuel... its not made out of cardboard. Please adjust.
  16. @The_Ders There is very good reason for this: Cause we don't know if you did something wrong during the alignment, and no one else is reporting this issue. In this case post a short track, preferably on Caucasus.
  17. Wish we can have this in game for all planes using JDAMs, it was reported some time ago.
  18. Same goes for GBU-24, and some other weapons. This should be corrected, But it is not a bug.
  19. I'd love to have liveries separated to two categories: Authentic and Fictional.
  20. @Skyracer Its complicated but the way I get it is that there are 3 phases the AIM120 has, MID phase - from launch to acquisition phase, datalink guidance. Acquisition Phase - has two phases: A-Pole is the range from your aircraft to the target when the missile goes Husky. - HPRF or High Pule Repetition Frequency or Husky. M-Pole is same as the A-Pole, is the range from your aircraft to the target when the missile goes Pitbull. - MPRF or Medium Pulse Repetition Frequency Final Phase - When the missile is in pitbull mode or husky, MPRF or HPRF, and F pole is the range from your aircraft to the target when the missile hits that target. So basically, you will first see lets say 10M on the left side on your DLZ, before you fire the missile, that means that your Aircraft will be at 10 miles from the target once target goes into MPRF or Pitbull. Below the DLZ youll see A17 for example, thats the time till your missile goes HPRF active. Whe you launch the missile your 10M will move below the DLZ and on the right you will see 8M and thats for next missile on your rail. Below the DLZ there will be 10M which wont change, and A17 that will count down to 0 and that's when the missile goes HUSKY or Pitbull, When that happens the symbology will change again, Below the DLZ youll see 8F thats the F-pole and it means that youll be 8 miles from the target when the missile hits, you'll see, below F-Pole, T15 which is the time till impact. at this point you can lose the lock since missile is guiding to the target on its own. That's how I understand it.
  21. Please read this first - makes it much easier for everyone to identify the bug I think I saw that issue reported before.
  22. Yeah I agree, so far only Mirage 2000C. Would be great if we could have Rafale M, so we have another country carrier fighter in modern era apart from US Hornet and Harrier (SU-33 but it is not full fidelity).
  23. Well if you think about it, if you use Start1 and it fails you used 1 accumulator, so you are left with 1 again for the second attempt which will most likely result in a fail again, since use of only 1 failed the first time... Therefore there is no logic in using only 1, better to use 2 and you are sure to start the engine, if using 2 fails then its not your fault and using only one in that case again would make no difference.
  24. I'd love it as standalone, good idea.
  25. Qatar Rafale with Sniper Pod.
