To stop whinging afterwards when people become unhappy by a really long development path and asking over and over again when some important feature is going to be implemented, or when some big bug is going to be fixed. ED has limited resources, so it can be one or the other, rarely both at the same time. Just look at F16 and SC.

There are no default keybinds, you need to come up with your own.

I think it is up to 200 m. I just tested it, with 3 waypoints via ME and 2 more added during flight. Works fine for me, same in reversed route.

You have to tell him to lase. Once you fired, open radio menu and select LASE. Besides, you need to enter coords JTAC gave you, so you know you are within missile launch constraints.

REMOTE will be displayed only if your LRFD (your laser) and missile laser code are different. In your case, both LRFD and missile code are the same. If you post a track file, we can take a look. My guess is that you were out of constraints when you fired.

I'm not sure if these are genuine questions or are you being sarcastic? I'm curious how come some people are having a lot of problems with how AI works, both in Hind and the Apache, while other seem to have little to no problems with it? Are you having problems all the time or just on some particular servers? -
I respectfully disagree. It seems ED has somewhat lost its course regarding customer relations. While it is true that EA never had any definite deadline, your business model seems to steer towards pumping out new modules/terrains to attract money on at the expense of finishing development of existing modules. Hence years of EA status. I doubt every single module has its own exclusive team or you would be one of the biggest game developers in the world. That then means you are prioritizing workload. We, as customers, feel you are doing it wrong. If anything, I would be thankful that we are voicing our grievances before we start voting with our wallets. I have a feeling this was done to take the aim away from some other things that have happened recently. EDIT: I do agree that what I wrote above is not strictly on topic of this thread, but with the answers you have provided us so far, what else is there to talk about?

You need to jump to front seat if your gyros are already toppled. That's what we have been talking about.

Issues you are having might be of your own doing. In your video, when you engage Petrovich, floating reticle is down and right. That indicates toppled gyros. Meaning that he is not looking where you think he is looking. -
It is a sort of a bug, but not in the way you think. If start is aborted for any reason, you need to wait about 60 seconds before attempting another start. DCS sees dry crank as a start attempt. I followed your steps, but I first dry cranked left engine, then the right and only then tried to start, first left engine then right one. Both started fine. This is a known occurence, even from the Mi-8.

My experience with AI is mostly with the Mi-8. If I get hit and lose part of the rotor, I have about 30 seconds to get on the ground. AI Mi-8 can shake like a wet dog for 20 minutes and fly. So, player Mi-24 is not too strong.

I don't think ATGM fight was meant to be its bread and butter, but it's just me.

The reason this might not be stupid, contrary to your beliefs, is the time that passes by while you are engaged with that one target. Unless you are in *hover, other targets might have moved from that initial search vector or might be out of search range completely. *this is a niche case, so ED might have chosen to erase it for simplicity sake.

^^^^ Blackdavis, if you are flying solo, you can jump to front seat, turn off power to Raduga, jump back into pilot seat and after time is up, tell Petro to activate weapons again.

Watched your track. You toppled the gyros. Give command to Petro to close the sight before you bank away.

Why would you land with GO in the first place? SOP is to safe the aircraft.

Dude, relax, you're barking up the wrong tree. Flappie is one of us, he did a lot of good for this community. Just because he's a beta tester does not mean he is getting paid for all of this.

I have first mentioned it in July of 2022. I think it was reported to dev team in October 2023.
