For those interested I will continue to post on my modern F-15 mods here. It is fairly well-known that I have made an F-15EX mod that is currently available for download here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3324876/ I hope to add a custom cockpit and external model to this mod at some point (it currently uses the F-15C cockpit and F-15E external model). What is not well known yet is that I intend to make a modernized F-15C mod, since the F-15C in its current state in DCS has some glaring limitations. Lack of AIM-9X capability is one of the main issues and one that I intend to partially correct, but I also want to implement some additional features that do not require loadout mods. This mod will if possible be IC-compliant, though like most add-on aircraft mods it will not be usable in most multiplayer servers. Development photos of the modernized F-15C to follow, for now here are a couple of my F-15EX mod: Edit: F-15EX V1.6 available here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3328343/ Don't forget to check out my YouTube channel for videos on the F-15 mods and other DCS-related content: https://www.youtube.com/@SpinosSimulations

Hi Reflected, I just wanted put the bug in your ear for a future mission project (probably 2027/8). With the coming of the FF F-15C, Mig-29A, and C-130, I think that you are the man for the job to re-create the Eagle/Fulcrum engagement from the movie "Air Force One". I am a huge fan of your missions and campaigns. I think you would bring the right skills, dedication, and flair to a project like this.

I was trying to edit the RCS of the F-15C, but I was unable to find the F-15C.lua file. This is if it does exist. Is there an F-15C.lua file? If so, where is it? If not, what file has the RCS?

Is this intended, based on the latest November 2022 Update on the Viper? Scenario: AWACS reporting a contact, and is populated on my HSD. FCR reporting a jamming contact. I STT lock the chevron and launch based on the range info given my the AWACS, and it is then the contact is shown as Angels 0 at the outer edge of my HSD. AWACS stops reporting its location.

21NSQD | Recruitment Letter | 10/03/2022 Our squadron is operating with member countries of the NATO and therefor allows a wide range of available airframes for all types of operations. Our goal with the 21NSQD is to provide a high standard of training, exercises, and operations to complete combined with fun and lots of events. Note: The 21NSQD is currently a German based squadron (all leaders are from a German-speaking country) but we also want to have members from all over the world. In order to apply for our squadron, you have to meet certain requirements which are listed below: Minimum age of 16 years Minimum 150 hours of flight hours in your main airframe (Goal: You need to be experienced with your airframe) Keyboard or HOTAS (HOTAS is preferred) Good English knowledge We also provide training for specific airframes for new pilots without any flight experience in DCS. If you choose to join our squadron as a new aviator, the minimum flight hours do not apply to the minimum requirements. For already experienced pilots, you have to complete a basic course, which is the “V1 Checkride Course”. In this course, we will provide basic information about our workflow in our squadron for you to study. All the contents in the checkride course will be checked in a theoretical and practical assessment. This allows us to get a better view on a possible new pilot for our squadron. With this checkride we want to check the following things: Airframe fundamentals General workflow Teamwork Current knowledge If we think you're a match for our squadron, we'll let you know and talk about goals we want to achieve with you in our squadron. We plan to improve your hard & soft skills, procedures and working in a team to get good effects in our operations. For squadron members, we provide various options for further education, which includes: [V1] Qualified Airman (completed once you have completed the checkride) [COQ] Carrier Ops Qualification [QLSO] Qualified Landing Signal Officer (NEW -> Currently W.I.P) [V2] Qualified Flight Lead [V3] Qualified Instructor If you want to join our squadron, make sure to visit our Website & Discord Server. If you have any questions, feel free to ask one of our project leaders. Hi! I am a new player and I am wondering what module I should get. Because It is cheap, I will only be getting one of the FC3 aircraft (A10A, F15, Su27/J11, Su33 and Mig29). I have created a poll as to which aircraft I should buy and could I ask you why you chose that option in the discussion below. Thanks!

Well I didn't know this was possible, but I did it. It was on Through the Inferno Sinai Map. We'd just gotten back from a 2+ hour mission and several AAR's each, I guess we'd drained the tanker a bit, because when I got there for my post climb out AAR, the tanker was tanking.

I've had FC3 for quite a while, never had any issue until recently where the F15C loses all its bindings and then seems to have the incorrect binding options in the menu. I have to run a repair every time I want to use it, then re-load my bindings. As soon as I close DCS and re-open it, the bindings are lost again and all greyed out (strangely the axis bindings only show one throttle vice two as well) and I have to run another repair. Has anyone else seen this? Anyone got a fix for it? Thanks

After the latest 2.9.0.46801 (MT) I can't reconfigure tons of previously bound commands to my HOTAS for F-15C. The scale is staggering: I'm a firm believer - if it can be bound to a keyboard, let us bind it to a controller/HOTAS buttons as well! I know, this is just a regression, but you should somehow make some order in these matters, please. I hope that F-15C is popular enough that we will get some quick patch for NOT being able to turn even the radar on with HOTAS!

WEW Lads are looking for new members!!! Aircrafts: F/A-18, F14 Pilot/RIO, F15c, F15e Pilot/WSO, and F16 Requirements: Mic, 18+ (we can work 16+, but we will interview you), Be able to purchase maps like Syria/Nevada/Persian Gulf, If you fly F18 or F14 you must have Super Carrier, Be able to show up to missions We Are a NA based Squadron and our op times are at 9pm EST on Wednesdays. We also host Arma ops that correlate to the DCS ops every Thursday at 9pm EST. We do like to have fun and also randomly hold game nights. We understand that life is a priority and don't expect you to give up your life when joining our squad. We don't make our members remember manuals or watch slides as we are all adults and have other things to take care of. If you do wish to join the group keep please the time zone in mind as well as the following rules. Take Missions seriously and don't purposely throw the mission. While we are not a full blown realism unit, we would still qualify us as MilSim. Our playstyle is set up for people who want to fly a realistic campaign in DCS without joining a full blown realism unit. You will be expected to talk on the radio relatively correctly and to take the scenarios seriously. We will not have a rank structure nor a chain of command. Mods are simply around to moderate, not to boss you around. Before joining the Campaign please pick an aircraft you are willing to fully commit to. This should be an aircraft that you are either willing to learn or are already proficient in. This aircraft should also be something that you are willing to fly for the main campaigns in the group. Due to the nature of DCS we would prefer people to stick to an aircraft. That being said, there will be opportunities in fun events/side missions for people to fly other aircraft, as well as different campaigns that may require different aircraft. You will not be allowed to fly in the campaign unless you picked an aircraft ahead of time. Before playing the campaign with us you must complete a check flight. This is not a daunting task and we don't want to fail you. We just want to know that you are confident enough in your airframe to fly in a mission. We require an attendance rate of 2 Ops per month. If you do not meet this rate you will be removed from the group. There are obvious exceptions to this such as family issues or even exams for schools. We are not expecting you to sacrifice your real life for this group, but you joined the group to play, so play. People who have just joined and have not passed their check flight have 1 week to at least attempt a check flight (if no one can do your check flight in that week for some reason an exception will be made) if you do not pass this check flight, the week resets. Once again, we are not expecting you to sacrifice your real life for this group, but you joined to play. *********************************Edit******************************************** Wew Lads has started a new campaign, and its not too late to join!! There has been a bunch of changes to our schedule and we are adding more op days other than Wednesdays. All ops will still occur at 9pm EST. We are in deep need of F-15 pilots, but all airframes are welcomed! As mentioned in the days below, there will be mods but the baseline of the mods are F16, F14, F15E, F15C, FA18 Mondays - Historical Missions or other side missions (focus will be on missions outside of whatever era we are currently playing in) Currently our focus is on the 80s, recreating missions from the falklands, Iran Iraq war, and the 1982 Lebanon war. This will include airframes like theF- and Harrier **Wednesdays** - Regular Modern Ops with modded aircrafts like the f22, f15ex, CJS F18 Super Hornet and even mod weapons for the F-14 to have aim174s and aim120s. These ops will be ran a little different though, as all the airframes will be running their own missions in a air space with the rest of the other airframes. Thursdays- Arma ops that will coincide with Wednesday ops. Saturdays - Exactly the same as Wednesdays, except they will take place at night. Other Side Campaigns - Random ops like Inherent Resolve missions that will be hosted on days voted by the members attending.
