Hello everyone, I am currently modeling the X-29A as a hobby, and I need help to find what reticle sight model they used in the aircraft. Basically the only picture where we can see it close is this one, and we can only see the bottom of it: These ones show it's shape from the exterior: Also here is its sheme in the flight manual, only saying "6.39 - Reticle sight (F-5A, space provisions for)". I didn't see anything more about it in this book. Other infos that might help: there was two X-29A built, and both front fuselage sections (including the cockpit) were taken from two F-5A: one from the USAF (aircraft 63-8372) and the other from a former Royal Norwegian Air Force. I found two hints for now: - The drawing in the flight manual is really similar to the reticle of some export versions of the F-5A, like this one from South Korea: - The reticle on the X-29 picture looks like the one on the CF-5: with a projector on the right and a semi-reflective glass projecting the image on the main glass. With all of that said, do you have other clues on what can be the X-29 reticle sight model? My goal is to know its exact shape, and the shape of the projected reticle :)

When I do researches on F-5E tiger's Landing video records, I found most of the "tigers" will do a nose up Aerodynamic Braking, in this video the voice over said 10 degrees (?) But I found it's really hard to do it in DCS, even I tried to touch down very Gently, the nose gear will "Strike to the floor" within 2 seconds, just like there is a force that pulling it down. ( I double/hundred checked my brakes are off ),TRACK INCLUDED DOWN BELOW , but yet I'm not a professional, and I'm lack of documents to proof it further, maybe you the one can provide a little help. I have started trying to build my own home cockpit panels for the F-5 as a fun project. I have heard that DCS BIOS is what I should be using but after hours and hours of trying to understand and trying to get DCS-BIOS to work I am stuck. I have no clue what I'm doing. I have a Teensy 3.5 and an Arduino Uno to use. I know there is some way to just use the Teensy as a HID but I don't know how to code at all and the internet was not helpful. Padlock, lock view/unlock view does nothing. I use a head tracker but I thought they still worked together. I have restarted the game, tried with tracking on/off. To be fair I'm probably not using them right, never used them before. Cheers. dcs.log
