I think as we near that day of days a little word of thanks is in order. Its been a turbulent time for all involved, a lot of tears have been shed, both of joy and despair, but what you have done is now the par. It will be the comparison, the baseline, and I'm not just talking about the -21 here. We, as the community, are a harsh bunch on the whole but you've endured and have come out better than ever. Bravo LN.

So Leatherneck, hear this;

Thank you

I think LN is a particularly class act because they are giving away sales to the crowd-funding folks, by way of free product keys, even though LN didn't get any income from the funding program...

Any time a business acts on a morally-upright impulse, it is as noteworthy as it is rare.

Leatherneck definitely have my thanks honoring the indiegogo backers and putting up with the constant naysayers is a sign of good character i think i will grab a second copy of the mig 21 Bis just to show my appreciation.

I think LNS's generosity in offering backers keys has been met by an equally noteworthy generosity by the huge number of backers promising to buy the module again even though they're being given it. Amazed by both.

LN certainly deserve our respect as a developer, they have shown time and time again that they are passionate about the DCS community. They have also managed to pull the MiG-21 through, despite all of the issues the project has had.

So yeah, thank you Leatherneck, for leading the way for DCS to continue evolving!

I can just concur, thank you for your hard work and dedication, and I hope the LNS won't break up so we can get a lot more great DCS: MiG- modules in the future :)

I don't have time to find a relevant .gif for this thread (something with 'I love you' would work well) -- so for now, I'll just say, from the entire team, a big thank you back!

Very happy you'll all be flying this thing very very soon. :)

Definitely appreciative of the team's dedication to this.

I would thank Dolphin in particular, it wouldn't be possible to have Sims like this without him and people like him.

Also he seems pretty long suffering with his 5fps testing on ultra low graphics settings.

I hope his wages go towards a new computer.

Yea I agree, it looks as though LNS have done an outstanding job making dcs mig 21 bis judging by the videos that I've seen, am itching to fly this thing.

Personally I think this will rival or even beat dcs A10C when it comes to complexity and systems intergration.

I just love how the radar system works, ground clutter, meteorological interference, this is what I have been wanting from dcs for years.

I mainly like jet aircraft from the 50s- 70s era and the way the radar systems worked then before look down shoot down radars emerged with computer processing that made clutter more or less a thing of the past.

I think LNS have done a top job on this release.

I've only done a few circuits so far, but the attention to detail is clearly evident. With a product this complex, issues can only be expected, but they have done a great credit to themselves with this excellent add on of an aircraft that has long been needed in the simming world.

Well done, and thank you. I will now go and drink the radar cooling alcohol before actually tackling the manual.

AMAZING product guys. Took it for a spin and as soon as I jumped into the pit it felt like something else in terms of quality and attention to detail. The external model is possibly the best in DCS, and the whole product exudes true passion.

I love how this is a complete module and not a beta. Seeing this sort of dedication is also a reassurance that possible problems and bugs will be ironed out before you push out dozens of other incomplete modules.

THANK YOU!

Amazing work guys from Leatherneck!

I am very busy this week but I managed to find time to get MiG for a short ride yesterday night, and this is amazing bird. Cockpit looks is so next-gen, hats off, I can imagine how good it will be with new lighting model of the upcoming EDGE.

And btw bought 4 licenses, so I could share them with friends who eagerly waited for this module!

Big thank you!

Thank you guys. I have been following the development of the Mig-21 from the very beginning back in early 2012. Backed the project as soon as indiegogo campaign started. My patience has been rewarded.

After all you have been through, you have released a flight simmers' dream.
