Hey Everyone,

 

We put together a short startup, taxi and takeoff video for you guys.

 

For the purists, and those who cannot stand by blabbering (i cant blame you) -- the second one is without VO. :)

Those are very likely edited sounds

 

Watch the stream and the posted video and you'll see those are completly different sounds

The Viggen's computer is pretty robust for it's time, and will likely be a pretty sizable chunk of the manual. You can expect a surprising level of complexity there, if I had to wager.

Something related to the HUD. The manual says it's "strömställare slav SI", which seems to select between navigation and targeting modes on the HUD/SI (SI = siktlinjeindikator; "line-of-slght indicator").

 

Edit: it engages/disengages the LÅGNAV mode, which is a low altitude (<100m) mode that de-cluters the HUD.

A custom soundset will be available for the external, however, we cant implement it on our own, hence its not in yet. :)
