Ok. I just found in my Settings that you have to enable "Show Signature" But it is there.

I've noticed lately when the light is just right, as I'm flying around a target range the targets appear as tiny white dots in normal viewing. When I use VR zoom or spyglass zoom the dot effect goes away.

 

It's almost like a column of vehicles with their daytime running lights on.

 

 

Edit: Saw this is the recent change log post

  • night time unit visibility, flickering white dots - fixed.

The Search function didnt come up with anything, but does someone have a good MASKSIZE value for a Reverb G1? I'm getting a bit of artifacting on the edges.

Can you tell me what the masksize is for the Samsung Odyssey +?

 

For me .61 worked.

@speed-of-heat Thanks for all your work! But could you explain or show (in pictures, maybe?) what exactly the clear water part of your variant does? I'm not quite sure what the benefits and/or drawbacks are and I can't actually find anything on it, maybe I'm not looking hard enough...

In 2.5.6 (I can't remember which exact version) you get transparent water, you can see this at beaches or over the Persian Gulf free flight missions when flying low, the base shaders mod, removes this for performance optimisation reasons. my clear water version of the mod puts it back...

Hi guys, I'm a bit behind, is the original kegetys shader working correctly with current OB or do we need to use the Taz tree fix version provided by speed-of-heat?

Best way is to test this yourself,nit takes almost the. Same amount of time as posting it here... Last I checked, the Base version of kegetys mod is compatible with the current releases, taz's tree fix corrects a minor graphics issue, bu! It still works without.

Is there a way to fix the glare on the MFD? I cant see anything if im in the Viper and the sun is on em

And that’s the problem, you need to get everyone in lockstep, and make sure they don’t conflict...

i just tested this against my variant and it works, so knock yourself out; but it might change, it wont pass IC, and i dont think it will work with Kegety's base mod, as it overwrites some of the same files

For anyone interested, I've just tested DCS VR Shaders mod for 2.5.6.50321 (Clear Water, IC Pass) on the latest, Dec 17th 2.5.6.59398 Open Beta. Works perfectly on Caucasus and Syria !

 

While I'm here, massive thanks to Kegetys and speed-of-heat for this mod, really helps me maintain a solid 45FPS with MP and the IC pass is a real bonus.

I'm experiencing minor issue with it in A10C-II cockpit.  The left panel texture that was updated with the patch gets some strange artifacting with this mod.  It is more apparent if I use the clean cockpit rather than aged.

 

I tried to troubleshoot the source but not enough time.  Plus it seemed minor issue if I use the aged cockpit.
