What is this new map? There is a building with "Sony" name on it.

Korea? Japan?

Most believe it is the Syria map. I haven't seen anything that is unequivocally identifiable to know for sure.

The map in the video is Syria, i didn't check the whole video, but at least at the beginning, its over the coast of Tartus

Hello guys

 

I notised that the map in the f16 pre-order video was not persian so i instant thought it could be a syria map since there have been some romours about such a map might become a reality some day.

 

I then visited google earth and since the coast line is not so big, and i could see a long coast line with a big city in the f16 pre-order video with an easy to identify harbour then i put two and two together and i can now confirm its the syrian map.

 

The city in the f16 pre-order video is LATAKIA ( maybe Martakla ) in syria ( im not 100% sure about the name but look at google earth.

It's Haifa Israel that he's flying over. At 1:05 in the video is the Sail Tower and you can see the port in the background. At 2:26 you can see the V shaped jetty at the port. But that's only a tiny slice of the map. So yeah, it's Syria and the surrounding area.

Ofocurse a new 3rd party releasing the first ever product isn't going to be exactly ED level, but that's normal, do ya guys start climbing mount everest before ever stepping on an ordinary mountain.

 

That said eventually all maps should be equal.
