But dont you think its not likely coincidence that this is happening to RB modules? Thats why I think its relevant here

The AV issue has happened to a lot of modules over the years, happened to me when the Hornet was released. You have just seen it happen to Razbam and assumed it was due to the current issue

The real question is, has RB been paid what they are due from F15E sales. That is an easy yes or no. Now the why doesn't have to be told, but the first question is easy to say.

At 77 pages this thread is pretty unwieldy, and it shows with the way the same things come up - it's too long to reasonably expect people new to the thread to check if their questions have been answered or comments have been made already. A new thread with the relevant information upfront might be an idea.

Doesn't look like a well thought out scenario when they first put up "no refunds" on the support page and then tell people in the forum they will refund. Or maybe the plan was to hold refunds until people get angry enough in which case I'd say that's the way you (knowingly) burn trust.

Again it's not the dispute that is burning trust for me but they way the handle it towards their customers - don't know enough details to say if they could have handled the dispute itself better. Probably in a way that would have affected their customers less but with less cash than what they have now.

Also I can't seem to remember to say they should roll over and give up their IP or business, so I'd appreciate if you don't assume I did. On that side note protecting your IP usually requires legal action and not withholding payment.

It already does affect the customers - not in a big way yet but it's obvious that there's problems.

probably a good idea and make it pinned and closed so  you can refer to this at all times. then of course as more information comes to light ED can update.

Nothing official can be said. We have to wait for resolution.

2. Can I refund Razbam modules?

Only F-15E (because of EA) and only as ED store credit. No refunds for Steam users possible.

Or there would be no need for refunds if the matter was settled quickly, apparently, it won't

They aren't handling it any differently than any other company, internal issues is none of your business until you as the customer actually are disadvantaged

No it doesn't

For starters, you oughta be aware many disputes are settled outside of court

And why go directly to court if you have methods to settle outside of it? This usually is less expensive and takes less time (if successful)

Court should either be when all methods are exhausted or the grievance is too severe to settle otherwise

You bought a pre-release module, issues not being fixed for a while is normal, some issues being fixed takes more time then expected (enough released modules that still have issues)

So now, the release is delayed for some other reason, while you can't state when a module will be released anyway, If RB didn't say anything, you'd be none the wiser

...so how are you affected?

Been waiting almost week now for a refund, but it hasn't even been looked at as far as I can tell.  I'm assuming this must be because the system is swamped with requests?

I am OK with closing this thread and starting a new one. 

  • Include the most recent known facts and last officials statements from ED / Razbam and more importantly a FAQ addressing the top concerns regarding support and refunds.
  • I have been hear since page 1 so nothing for me to catch up on.
