Agreed. I haven't flown enough to know if it's a problem for me. But so far so good. But of course if people are getting sick and can't play ED has to accommodate those.

i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

I absolutely love the new visor/helmet in VR, and I wish every module - including 3rd party (looking at you, Heatblur!) - would have it, but I agree that options are always the best way with such things. A simple toggle on/off in "special options" shouldn't be too much to ask.

Visors are great. I don't buy any of that "getting sick". It's rather too realistic and steps onto some users convenience. Can't wait for the nose O2 mask :thumbup:

I guess there must be some gremlins that need more testing as mostly this year patches have been around 4 weeks apart.

Mind you we normally get some hype about what's coming in a future patch a few weeks before the patch drops (Kola updates, Normandy 2 winter updates come to mind)

This month the DCS news feeds I follow have been very quite on what's cooking for us, im hoping for the C130 before Christmas too but was really hoping it dropped Nov 🙂

I wonder if the Thanksgiving Sale is mostly to keep the children quiet while the C-130 chugs along to the showroom.

You don´t "get sick" doesn´t mean the issue is not there for other users, and it depends of the headset. Not everyone get the same experience.

I love the visor in the Hornet and Viper but i can´t use them due to the nose gap and 3D rendition of the JHMCS on top of the FOV. Fortunately there´s a mod to remove the nose gap and the 3D JHMCS rendition.

About carrier ops: "The younger pilots are still quite capable of holding their heads forward against the forces. The older ones have been doing this too long and know better; sore necks make for poor sleep.'

Tomorrow is Wednesday, so there's a chance for a patch and the introduction of the C-130J (I hope). Last chance to buy at a discount 🙂.

I'm wondering the next patch date and time will be set as 28 Friday's 1500Z with weekly official Newsletter and C-130J. 🙂

Patches don’t normally come on Fridays as if there are issues it needs to wait until after the weekend to get fixed. There is the occasional hot fix but I wouldn’t expect a bigger update on a Friday.

Patches are uploaded when they are ready to release. They plan to make it wednesday but, as history shows, it can be any day, except sunday - I couldn't find one released that day.
