Who Would Buy DCS SU-25T?

Here's an educated guess why there will probably not be a DCS Su-25T:

 

There's pretty much nil documentation regarding its systems. The one you have modeled in FC2/World for example does not have the correct RWR system, among other things. It is an aircraft that is constantly in flux, and the specific incarnation you're vPiloting probably hasn't existed for years now, if ever.

We should start an Indigo fundraiser drive with the proceeds going to a trust for the lucky Dev who steps up to the plate to give us a High-Fidelity Toad or even the TM version.

Maybe put something on kickstarter? ( http://www.kickstarter.com/ )

or perhaps there are some other options available?

I would love to see someone build a cockpit for the SU25t. If Ed would allow someone to build it using the current Toad. I Would donate to a free project on kickstarter. I wouldn't pay too much for a new toad.

 

If someone was to build a cockpit that had some clickable switches, working radios and a few other basic systems, I would donate to the cause. Why start from scratch? Use what we have and expand on it for the benefit of the community.

I only flew it the once, never again.

 

Give it a chance! It's one of the most satisfying planes to master. Something about it's AFM just feels right and much more convincing for me than A-10C. I do like A-10C a lot too though!

I was not convinced at first, the Russian's always seemed to have very simple cockpits, and not having as much gadgets and data as the A-10c I felt I was at a disadvantage.

I would definitely buy any plane if it's modeled at a similar level like the Hog and the Shark. Since Falcon 4.0 I really like clickable Cockpits, because I can concentrate on learning how the stuff works, rather than additionally have to remember a load of keyboard commands

I would buy an Su-25TM/SM/KM sim but I already have Su-25T for free so probably wouldn't buy that.
