Is this the actual engine or EDGE? Looks different colorwise.Looking damn good btw.

I was thinking the same thing. The current sky always has a slight magenta tinge to it.

The current engine will be replaced by EDGE, so yes those screens are with EDGE. The engine currently been used for Georgia will be scrapped, but it is most likely the foundation for EDGE development. Edited by SyntaxError

Blah blah EDGE blah blah;). This is actually pretty awesome no matter which engine. Now when implemented, no more weird/stretched looking wingmen in formation, or on the ramp. Also, takeoff, landing, and taxiing FOV down the runway won't look so short while feeling like it takes an eternity. It will look like it takes an eternity, too.

Thanks for mentioning this Wags!

EDGE with warm HDR.
It will be a shame if there's more than one HDR setting. What's wrong with one universal HDR setting that matches real life colours and contrasts as accurately as graphically possible? Is it an engine limitation or more a matter of pleasing the crowd?

Not sure if you know something we don't about HDR settings so yeah if you know as much as we do...

We don't all use the same monitor, so no.

I could show you two photographs of the same thing that can look completely different. Graphical representation is very much an art. And is also very subjective.

Much needed and looking good.

I wouldn't say "much needed" but certainly it has it's uses. And yes it can look good, only if well implemented; even so, I'd imagine I'll be keeping this off most of the time.

So basically this will give us a much needed depth perception when flying formation, and sense of height as well?

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
