Unbelievable. I'm sorry, but if they can't run a basic kickstart, I'm starting to lose any faith in their ability to build a complex WWII sim. I'm sure I'm not the only one with these concerns.

I share your concerns, what with this and the whole change in pledge rewards mess. I'm still wondering what I'll get for my money, considering how much will be available for free; maybe the satisfaction of backing a project isn't enough any more.

Smart move... Don't finish video on time, make a "fake" private release. Go to "sleep". "Wake" up in 24 hours with the finished video :)

Just kidding. Let him be. Apparently he is human, and suffers from lack of concentration after a double shift.

It'll be just a funny story to laugh at when we talk about how the most detailed WWII sim in pc history was created.

What an amazing dilettantism!!!

I think i will look for one more week at this and then decide to pledge.

Uhhh ... then he'd better get it sorted, eh?

Give the man some slack... ;)

Ilya posted this 9 hours ago in a KS comment so he is sleeping as it was a 257 minutes upload and from what he writes well aware that the video is private until he wakes up... But OK, it sure would have been better to wait until the upload was done to post the link...

Agree with hegykc. Give it a rest, it's not the end of the world. It's not some BF4 trailer, it's something made by and managed by one guy, who is already quite busy with other things, so it's just quite reality detached to expect him to give up sleep to get it out a few hours earlier. The time this could possibly be delayed is nothing compared to what everybody's already been warned that DCS WWII might be delayed, so if you can't stand this, the actual subject of the film will probably turn into a torture like nightmare for you :)

Still asleep, no doubt blissfully dreaming, counting the new jumping pledge sheep's that his video inspired...wake up!..lol

If anything this episode heightens the anticipation even more. I've been 'F5'-ing since 7am :) Love to hear what Yo-Yo has to say regarding flight models and whatnot...

Fantastic video with lots of interesting content. I can only hope that ED takes good care of all the loyal people working there. I'll up my pledge just to show my appreciation.

Thanks Ilya!

Who went to check out the Belsimtek trip to record the Mi-8 sound video to see if that was Yo-Yo holding the recorder. They had the man untangling that mess of wire, too. lol He's a math genius for crying out loud.

Nice video, too. :)

From Ilya's transcript:

Yo-Yo created the P-51, our flagship prop-driven fighter simulation, and we're very fortunate to announce that not only will Dmitry be involved with and supervise and quality control all aircraft built by RRG, he will also personally work on our Spitfire Mk.IX, a project of a great personal interest to him.

Whatever else happens, today is a good day!

No, you are definitely not the only one. Just those comments by him in the update that have already been mentioned here, kind of turned me off...

I don't mean to sound so negative, I am now though not feeling quite as excited as I was initially. I guess ( think ) I will leave my 150 pledge as it stands to at least support them in this venture, but I sure will not be upping it any more, that much at least I now know.

That information may also convince me to buy in to the WWII kickstarter! :D (I'm currently just waiting for a DCS F-15C or F/A-18C/D/E)

Relax. He's pledged a fair chunk of money for this. People are entitled to their opinions once expressed decently.

Agree. Let's not get personal :)
