SkateZilla Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 This is really good new for us all. More money in ED's account. More exposure via Steam. A better future for us in bringing more aircraft into the mix. I hope the net code will continue to get better for more stability, performance and more numbers to keep the attraction. :) If you've seen the steam forums, This will only help, Right now, these users want "Easier" planes, and "Cheaper" Planes.. It's a montage of "This Game is Too hard" and "$15/$40 is too expensive for 1 plane" posts last time I Looked. Now they can have "Easier" Planes and 6 of them for $50. Flogger23m Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Just to be even more clear: This is the same as the FC3 version you are all familiar with, the key/only difference is that we now can legally sell it sans-Lock On. This will also allow us to sell the product world wide on Steam and other digital distribution outlets. When the final version of 1.2.7 is released, existing owners of FC3 will also no longer need a Lock On installation. Will owners of FC3 (non-Steam) get the option of plugging in our CD keys into Steam? So far all my modules (aside from P-51) plugged into Steam fine.

HiJack Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Great news! Hope ED and FlamingCliffs now will get a lot more new pilots.

They should update the change list to specify the Su-25T as well. And I assume more 3D models will get reworked. The F-14 is extremely ugly, and the MIG-23/27 can use a new model.
Silver_Dragon Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I think it might have something to do with Combined Arms? Not sure, but see the "progress" talking on the CA Russian forum (check my post here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116685) , I can put the hand on the fire of the 2014 can be see very good news to CA.
