Hi, I enjoy the campaign, but I get a bit frustrated with leads fuel-management where he/she constantly use the afterburner after a turn on way to target or in a holding pattern. I understand there now is a way in DCS to restrict the AI from using AB. It would be great if this could be enabled until you get to the actual battle. This I believe also would make it a bit easier to keep in formation and avoid all the complaints from lead. I enjoy the fact that you are actually not flying lead, but the abrupt flying from the AI makes it a bit frustrating sometimes.

I also find myself typing ctrF "mosquito" in every new changelog... And I'll also keep asking for it under trailers of new modules on youtube. I want to continue flying the excellent Mossie campaigns but keep putting it off. And it really doesn't take much, for me those are the most important things (did I forget anything major?) - optional pilot and naviagor bodies - fix for artificial horizon - elevator Trim fix (?) - loadout options like flares - working windscreen wipers Thanks devs in advance!

I tried all the cockpit skins around including those one. They are either too clean or the color is not the correct one or too bright. We need a weathered cockpit (not new) but with the color as per picture posted.

Hi, Have you clicked the history button? There is a history button on the mission planning screen that allows modern or no historical period. Try that.

Probably possible for dev to tune something in Hind? I mean: 1. Stabilizator in min position (because stabilizator AOA=main rotor AOA, that is in min position when cold) 2. To have option with cargo door opened in cold start position 3. To correct sync main rotor blades position and AOA with tail rotor blades position and AOA 4. To set front blade in 1 o`clock position before start (because it seems their right start position) 5. Grren circles are 3d model inaccuracies. 6. To add better sound for CPG` control activator (red lever at collective) It have usual button sound. Thank you. link with picture

No I believe it's just like in the MiG-21 NDB's are selected using the bottom part of the navigation panel on the right depending what navigation number they have been assigned to. You rotate the nob to the correct number, and make sure the switch is set from RSBN to ADF. Use just use the comms pannel on the left set to ADF to tune into the correct comms channel to hear the morse code, to confirm the it's the correct NDB the ADF is listening to. I believe the beacon buttons are just a quick way to select specific programed channels without have to select them using the navigation nob.

He did also mention that can use any of the airfield points, as extra way points (you don't have to put them on airfields) You will just have to switch still to the AB position to use those way points.

The OP of this issue isn’t using VR so this isn’t really relevant. IMHO (while things are good for you) I wouldn’t recommend that.

If they ever do a complete new MiG-21 v2.0, I would expect nothing less than a full integration of the native DCS maps RSBN/PRMG/NDB system.

I was curious about this too when considering a stick upgrade. I think very few flight sims today have native support. It looks like that’s all generated by the stick software. But yeah native to the game would probably result in better quality. I see DCS is a mixed bag depending on the module.

I wasn't saying it was easy nor quick, but it would be great to have it supported out of the box. I'm also familiar with the fact that this is one of the oldest 3rd party modules, so it's definitely not a 5-min fix. All we can ask is that this gets included in the plans, nothing more. And if they say no, that's fine as well.

Magnitude 3 would need to update the module to adopt the native DCS RSBN/PRMG system. This means a rework of the avionics code to retrieve data from map_beacons.lua rather than relying on internal Lua files. Maybe not so easy but necessary in the long run.
