The DCS hitpoint system is really unsuited to simulating this kind of vehicle. IRL, the 30mm would shred the turret quite handily, but only scratch the paint on the hull. Still a mission kill, but it won't leave a smoking wreck. -
Thank you for putting in the work that I wasn't able to. A few points: I don't know who added the Aster 15 to my SAMP/T, but there's no such thing as a land-based Aster 15. The SAMP/T is designed to use the Aster 30 Block 1 only. The SAMP/T NG (the upgraded system with the GF300) can use both the Aster 30 Block 1 and Block 1NT. Aster 15 is a purely naval missile. The Aster Block 2 project has been cancelled years ago, and it never flew. Its role is to be fulfilled by the Aquila interceptor somewhere in the 2030s What is the issue with the 9S32 ? In any case, I can look if I still have the original model. Otherwise, perhaps ERO, aka @Strigoi_dk, still has it somewhere. IRL, the purpose of the MC is *not* to add a TLD. It is not an equivalent to the ICC and the ME already has all the bells and whistles TLD-wise, from L16 to JREAP including legacy TDLs like ATDL-1 or L11. Cheers.

It probably won't be two weeks , but that's my bet for this year. If I had to bet on a month, it would be October, a month after the MiG-29A's release. Of course this is just my opinion.

@Calvin.Pimax Im having almost the exact same issue. 1) I started out with 4.41.2 and nothing else. 2) i used Quadviews in PP only and right away got a good 75ish FPS on the ground and about 85 to 90 in the air. It was working well. 3) I tried some other setting only within PP like using "start" in the games tab within the "DCS" game after making setting adjustments. I also tried "smart smoothing" and lock to half frame rate. 4) after doing the steps describe in 3 FPS dropped to 35 and was not usable. I could not solve this problem by reversing the settings. I gave up and installed 1.40.4 and quadviews. This ran great (at least as good as in step 2) but DCS would crash frequently. 5) I switched back to 4.41.2 and tried only the PP quadviews. same problem 35 fps. Reinstalled (repair option) mbuccha quadviews and using that I get 75-90 fps again. 6) but dcs still seems to crash a lot. Im worried its a cable issue. am investigating.

@ TATOR: Many thanks for posting the fix Moran found! It worked for me. No more jittering wheels since i commented line 203. The OV-10A is a great aircraft to fly. Never thought flying a turboprop would be so much fun. Would be really great if you guys could spend some time on this mod after the upcoming Alphajet. We've got lots of jets in DCS but only few flyable turboprops... Actually the OV-10A is the only one I know.

It is not just an AI thing. This happened two days back on Project Overlord server. http://eu.4ya-servers.nl/tacview/Project Overlord WWII/Tacview-20250825-161330-DCS-06._24_JUNE_1944_N2_v5.5.8X.zip.acmi (t+3:28:30). Corsair continued 9 min home after he lost tail and released vapours whole time.

Thanks! I did balance the TOS-1A somewhere between the T-90 and something with low protection. But based on your report and after doing more in depth testing I agree that the unit takes too much fire without being damaged. I need to make the protection contrast between the tank chassis and the more vulnerable launcher turret more obvious. I've done some testing which I think will be a suitable update for the unit. This means that it will matter to a higher degree if you hit the chassis or the launcher turret (which might be a challenge in the Apache, haha). -

The three cooling flap levers are close together, I'm sure on a real Corsair the pilot was able to close all three with a single hand movement.

Glad to help. You can retrieve your inputs. Find them in the original folder. They we be folder within for each aircraft. Just copy them to the new folder allowing overwrite.

Don't know if this will fix your issue---but dissatisfied with aliased, block-y cockpit shadows, I found somewhere a suggestion to change the entry for "High" in the shadows.lua file in the install folder of DCS---under config\effects\ to what I have here: If the 16384 entry is too taxing for your GPU, 8192 looks quite good, too.null - Today

He was just explaining in more detail what the issue is. He isn't saying it should be able to present an image while pointing towards the sky. He is saying it shouldn't and provides examples of it doing what it should not be able to. This issue has to deal with how ED modelled the A-G radar function of the jet. And I am sure they are tracking. Edit: not sure why it posted the same thing twice. -
Hey Guys this may be usefull for some. i have seen recently other people complaining about export 'LoGet<somedatatype>'functions returning null. In the file: dcs_ControlAPI.md related to the lua export api, it is advertised that the export data getter function LoGetNavigationInfo() should return data when the other getter: LoIsOwnshipExportAllowed() returns true. and the example is given in the core export.lua of how we should call it. when its called it it is always null. as shown below... if i remove the 'if Nav then..' wrapper, then i get an error that we cant index a null value. because the Nav object is null. null nullexported log: we see only the first part is exported. This has been used by other people as i have seen this regularly used by other people on this forum and the dcs bios forum. ok dates are from wayback, like 2013 to 2017..such as @Capt Zeen and @McMicha So it doesn't seem to be working with the F/A-18c. I need it for the ACS boolean(autoThrust) for an auto thrust module i have in a thrust lever unit for the f18. Can anyone else verify if it works for them on the F18 or if it DOES work for them on other mods, FC3? Maybe it only doesn't work on ED core aircraft for some reason. If anyone at Eagle Dynamic reads this can you confirm the validity of this function on core mods lua export? Any help appreciated thanks Jim

Unfortunately, I mixed it up with the "Pylons On/Off"-mod. This is a skin you can apply freely. But the FBI agent or the medevac kit are loadouts, provided by a tech mod. I wasn't able to change these loadouts on FARPs or airbases via rearming menu like you can do with regular arms armament. With the newest update you can load cargo into the chopper and now you can see it inside! The agent or the infantery group are now loadable via the cargo UI. But it is rendered as (packed into a) crate/box inside the Huey. So it seems to get this special "armament" you still need the mission editor. And you can't change it during a mission without losing its genuine appearance.

Sure, you can find the mission in the attachment. Well, I need them to fly in close formation. like IRL I've tried more, and unfortunately I reached the same conclusion; apparently it's a DCS limitation. I prefer having them flying in one close formation so the strike package can refuel at same point so they don't need waste time on rejoining. attack on Iranian SCUDs.miz
