Yeah I can confirm this, yesterday it was working fine with pooling rate 1000 and day before that I had to lower it to 250, cause 500 was stuttering as well. at the moment of posting this, 1000 pooling rate was the cause of stutter, when I lowered to 500 it was ok.   3. Now that the L118 can finally be picked up without slamming into the helicopter, the next problem shows itself. When carrying at speeds below 40kts, it merely bounces around and starts swinging without any manouvering. Above 40kts, it gains enough energy to risk slamming into the carrying helicopter. Above 60kts, even a gentle manouver is almost guaranteed to cause the gun to swing into the fuselage. The gun is tested to be stable at 120kts when in a single point sling, according to US TM 4-48.10 "Multiservice Helicopter Sling Load: Single-Point Load Rigging Procedures". Attached is a track showing how it behaves in steady (except the gun swinging wildly enough to make it not steady) forward flight at increasing speeds. ArtilleryKarate.trk

  5. I´ve also experienced this more and more recently. Strangely only in a multiplayer session hosted by myself on my pc with only one other person joining. I´ve managed to take some screenshots and it is exactly as has been described here many times. Looking away from the sea frames are rock-steady, looking at the sea fps go down massively. We´ve also tried setting up a mission from Garz and frames immediately go down to 18 looking towards the area described in this thread. This has not always been the case for us and has gotten really bad fairly recently. So as it stands, that whole area up there is absolutely unplayable for us as well now.
  6. What random Russian people say on an internet forum is not necessarily an indication of what RL MiG drivers from Russian AF say, or what the Soviet ones used to say. Besides, since MiG-23 is long retired and MiG-27 is obscure, I suspect "the MiG" works for most people these days.

Cause i can't manage to find it, clicking on the link at the beginning of this thread leads to a completely blank page, and by right clicking on the link i get no download option as suggested by "drPhibes".   12. I'm trying to set up parking at a regular Airfield, so a squadron only uses certain spots. I'm using the following code: parking_id = { ["C"] = {2,10}, --["C"] = {2,10}, }, But it doesn't seem to be working. Is this still implemented? I'm trying to set up a MiG-29 squadron at Mozdok to only use parking spots 1-31. I have this in the OOB file: parking_id = { ["C"] = {1,31}, },

  14. For me it’s now in the down position to start the engine. Strange … But I feel more and more disappointed from Ed . The shark gets almost forgotten since the pay update. now u can argue that not many people fly the shark… so the shark is low priority. But with these bugs at the moment, the shark is unplayable at realistic settings. That’s why so less people fly the shark brought! - axis have wrong directions - the abris is freezing - there are a lot of Button bindings missing for on and off. Just toggle are available -autopilot behaves strange in route mode by changing the course and so on…. and all those bugs are present since release. shame on ED …

  17. The storage is completely irrelevant for PCVR, so you can pick the cheapest version. I think it always comes with hand controllers anyways. You could go without them, but if you want to see your desktop at some point between games to…I don‘t know…change a windows setting somewhere without lifting your headset, you need the controllers simply to turn that desktop view on.

  20. It shouldn't, but the bin-mt WILL be removed down the line. So it's just good practice to switch to the bin now. Not running as admin trick has been known for a while now. Cheers!

  23. Just noticed Dessau airfield has two NDBs (inner/outer) with the same frequency 765.0 KHz. Identifiers are different though, WN for inner and W for outer.

  24. Gibt es denn Module mit realistischer Sichtbarkeitsdistanz? Ich erinnere mich, dass die Hornet etwas weiter sichtbare (und sehr hässliche) Navigationslampen hat. Nach wenigen Kilometern oder so sind die aber auch weg. Also immer noch unrealistisch und praktisch unbrauchbar unter Gameplay-Aspekten...

Aber mit einem eigenen Thread hätte das eine schöne Diskussion werden können. Hier aber gehts zu wie auf Facebook. Gepostet, maximal (wenn überhaupt) eine oder zwei Antworten, der nächste bitte. Sorry, aber mit ein Grund, warum ich hier so gut wie nicht mehr aktiv mitschreibe. Für mich ist dieser Thread immer noch ein Sargnagel für die Vielfalt und Übersichtlichkeit dieses Forums. Ok, war jetzt auch nicht kurz, aber darum gehts ja hier schon lange nicht mehr.
