  2. I have version 1.41.2 Using quadviews If I want to supersample the Foveated section in the center of the FOV to 150% is the following the correct method? Note: "Gaze area resolution" can not be set past 100. This would be the logical way to supersample the foveated part of the display... but no. 1) Set image quality "CUSTOM" set slider to 150% 2) Set quadviews "Gaze area resolution to 100% This means that the whole image is now 150% boosted and I would have to reduce "peripheral area resolution" by 50% to get it back to the same value as it was when "set image quality" was at 100%??? Is this the proper way to SS the foveated section in PP? Thanks!
  3. Wow, I did a mission with my squad and with SS at 1 l49% (stupid slider!) I was seeing over 70 FPS on the super carrier deck and up to 120 above a few thousand feet over Syria. This was MP with a very heavily scripted mission with Skynet etc running. Awesome work! @RealDCSpilot thank you so much for your settings,I will investigate. @JMW I don't think I have SSAO enabled,I have DLSS and DLAA but I can check tomorrow. I certainly don't see anything as obvious as the box in your video. @VirusAM for brightness, off the top off my head, try the PSVR app. On my system it's always visible in the toolbar at the bottom of SteamVR. I'll double check that. I know mine is at about 90%

  5. That's not addressing the issue. The problem is if you command any search, AI George will find the yellow "Unknown" outpost or workshop you added to a FARP in 25 km distance, while you want him to find the red infantry you currently look at that's lobbing tracers and RPGs at the blue MRAPs 4 km directly in front of you! The list now shows a couple yellow buildings in the distance and nothing else, so you have George scan for targets again, and again and again, only to get the same yellow buildings from the FARP now 20 km away, while you get too close for comfort to the AAA and infantry still directly in front of you. Even if you adjust the list display to Hostile & Unknown only, the far away and out of weapons range unknown outpost, is still clogging the target list. Now, with the new scan PHS Zone, why is George listing unknown targets 20-25 km away, if I clearly look at an orchard 3.5 km in front? If we had an option to force the AI (like telling our CP/G in real life) to only report HOSTILE (red) targets and ignore neutral, blue and unknown, especially out of weapons range(!) for building the target list, that would be great.

  8. I think my gun effects telemetry is not being output by DCS correctly. I'm using the Moza AB9 and MH16. The reason I say this is on a second computer all the effects are working. On the first computer the effects are also working (canopy, gear, buffet and stalls, etc) Is there a telemetry lua somewhere for DCS that I can check this? Thanks.

  10. Any news on if the taxi bug is getting a fix soon? was on the carrier today and it’s almost impossible to turn her 180 from parking to the rear for take off. On the ground with no wind it’s slightly easier but 9/10 I need almost full power to get her rolling forwards and then hit a wheel brake but she lifts the tail off and kills the prop. The only way I can get her to taxi OK is if it’s a long smooth taxi run and you can dab the brakes and get her changing direction. But if you need to spin her or move her in a tight space I can’t seem to get it done. It feels like the individual wheel brake is too powerful and brakes the whole aircraft and that tail wheel isn’t freely moving. Takl wheel is unlocked. I’m using VKB rudders with no brakes on them so I use MH HOTAS two-way as left and right brakes. Works perfectly with the jug. Right now the taxi issue limits what you can do on the ground with the Corsair.
  11. Saw in his Discord yesterday that Sim Haptics won’t be getting anymore updates till January. Might check SimShaker for Aviators (with sound module add-on for the ButtKickers). Those guys are on top of things.
  12. Ну оно должно быть без фанатизма. А лучше всего дать выбор. Оно ведь и по контексту миссий может подходить\не подходить. Так же как сделали при выборе кабины на другом языке, там некоторые приборы другие стоят.

  14. I get these shades in all jets. They do not show up in a printscreen, so I replicated the look. They are symmetrical, place in the middle. -One per eye.
  15. When you guys use quadviews with the VR1 do you notice a square that follows your vision in the center of the FOV? Is that a quadviews issue or a dcs issue or something else?

  24. Yeah the mura thing is blown out of proportion. I see it but its not a problem its about 10x less noticeable vs the square, which is why I thought it was funny. Lets worry about this nothing item and totally ignore a very noticeable visual anomaly Im still really impressed with the eye tracking thats a huge win a 10/10 so far.. So thats awesome!

  26. Why MSAAx4 and not DLAA? DLAA looks way better Also - Process lasso… I know some people use it. I never have. For me it just adds another layer of confusion. And most importantly- I don’t need it in DCS. I use full resolution in Pimax Play. Yes. And that is for the Crystal Super that has way higher resolution than you OG Crystal. And Quadviews not very aggressive I would say. And I get over 72 fps stable, probably closer to 90. so I have set my Crystal Super to 72hz refresh rate - and it is very smooth that way. I have AMD 9950X3D and a RTX 5090. Not sure why you get so low performance. MY advice: follow the instructions in this video. That’s what I did:
