USS Mercy T-AH-20. World's largest Hospital Ship. I will be releasing her with the sister ship USNS Comfort T-AH-19. I'm re-working the Lewis Puller. Not happy with the outcome. Stay Tuned!9 points

Hi all, as many of you have seen the website is under heavy load currently, please be patient while admin works the problem. thank you9 points

We continue to work on the issues, once again I am sorry this has taken so long. It's a combo of traffic and then an unfortunate event with the authentication server, a perfect storm. We hope to have these issues resolved as soon as possible.8 points
-
Regarding the situation that is happening, I can only say that the most penalizing part is that I can't use the simulator because the ED server has gone down. If I spend my money on modules and maps, ED should let me be able to use my simulator even if their customer authentication server goes down. Maybe use authentication only for multiplayer and downloading updates.8 points

Heya, folks Think about world we are living right now... Think about being gentle... Not upset on everything ! ) It will work again !8 points

I have passed on the feedback. The problem here is the saved auth that would allow you to continue is tied to a version number, and as it is an update to a new version number and you can not login the saved auth is not applying. It needs to be addressed for sure as it is a weak spot.8 points

Hello, as some of you may know, over the past two years I've been working on making Egyptian Liveries for DCS, so far a good majority of this has been completed, but a few aircraft remain missing. I figured with the release of the Sinai map this would be a good time to catalog these liveries as they finally have a place where they can be flown. @BIGNEWY little suggestion for the devs; do not host the locense checking service on the same domain/server. the fact no body can acces the game due to overload of the website is very stupid.7 points

I'm going to buy it and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it. Looking forward to that fancy radar and the big bombs. It's gonna be fun. But the hype has been killed with extreme prejudice. When it lands it's going to be. "Oh... okay."6 points

First flight! Wow, great map. Performance is really nice, maybe some falls over Cairo (VR) but the rest map works great where I was. The map is beautiful and impressive. I have very positive impressions for the first contact, the ground textures are very nice, trees, vegetation and buildings. Great job @OnReTech !5 points

Thanks ED & OnReTech ... you made my day, by placing a chilean F-16 on the map trailer5 points

Any reason for this unwarranted adjective? You're more than encouraged to participate to the development of the tool. It's open source. Be part of the solution, not the problem.5 points

ED has stated that Phase Two of their radar development will include azimuth/bar settings effecting detection performance. "Upon Phase 1 release and tuning, we will implement Phase 2 that will include the effect of radar azimuth and bar settings on detection ranges and the inclusion of more accurate look down radar performance." This is not a correct application of radar theory. The radar range equation does not contain azimuth or bar values in it. Azimuth and bar settings only effect what is has been called Max Range Cumulative detection performance. Which indicates a typical range the radar will first see a target. See my full explanation here. But in short it is a simple way of telling a high ranking officer the typical range he could expect his first detection. Though this does not inform the officer that the detections will be rare/irregular at this range. Azimuth and bar settings have little to no effect on performance. This is a misnomer told to pilots. Detection range performance is based on a probability of detecting a RCS at a given range. ex the APG-66 has a 10% chance of detecting a T-38 at 20 Nmi in a single sweep. (ie the main beam crossed the target once) The benefit of lower ur bar and azimuth isn’t that this performance changes. Rather it’s that you get many more sweeps per second on the target. ie you get more chances to detect the target. Each sweep always being 10% (given the T-38 example). Said another way, you simply get to roll the dice more often. But the average performance remains the same. ED should instead use single scan probability of detection (not effected by azimuth/bar), rather than max cumulative. For instance, given the APG-66 / T-38 example above. Using single scan Pd, the T-38 would only be detected 1/10 sweeps at 20 Nmi. If ED used Max Cumulative, they'd simply make the detection 100% at 20 Nmi. I've made a fully open source/non-ITAR analysis of the APG-63 detailing the math behind all of this. ED should use the SNR figures provided to determine single scan Pd. Id recommend using a 0% Pd for anything lower than a 10% Pd, and a 100% Pd for anything above 95% Pd to simplify the code and because SNR figures get unreliable at these extremes. Note that my math/analysis has been cross checked against the APG-66 as well, with estimates nearly match Westinghouse themselves https://i.imgur.com/cVZSyQf.jpg Note that this graph is from IEEE, and has no government restrictions: "F-16 Pulse Doppler Radar (AN/APG-66) Performance" IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON AEROSPACE AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS VOL. Hello All. I really love Cold War DCS era. Old jets and helicopters. But fly over some modern maps can be frustrating. Too modern Airfields, buildings and stuff. If you want to add some Tu-95 or B-1 to the stand, you will be sad because super low resolution of old models. So I realized that for really cool gameplay the best way is to have special Cold War asset pack. It will be cool for reproduction of historical events in singleplayer, or even some Cold War serverswill use it. There may be some special stuff like Soviet KM-1 ekranoplan, some amphibious hovercrafts, special trucks with big jet drone indide, bombers like first Tu-22, Tu-95(I know about mod), B-70 Valkyrie, SR-71 Blackbird, some cool tanks as IT-1 Dragon or BRDM with 5 guided rockets Malutka. It will really refresh cold war scene and add new tasks and tactics. Also will be cool to control it with Combined Arms4 points

Dear all, we're happy to bring you a new batch of fixes with this patch, which include more than 100 user requested keybinds, an overhaul of the RB-05, BK-90 fixes and more. As always we would kindly like to ask you for your feedback and thank you for your continued support! DCS AJS-37 Viggen by Heatblur Simulations NEW: Added over 100 user requested keybinds (with special thanks to Munkwolf et al.). Does not affect existing keybinds. RB-05 Overhaul: Fixed RB-05 only able to be steered with radar in A0. Fixed launched RB-05s automatically setting radar to A0 (without moving the switch). Fixed subsequent launches sending the first missile to Valhalla. Fixed steering commands being sent to the missile beyond 30s. Included several BK-90 fixes: Fixed STD switch erroneously affecting pattern setting. Inhibited display of BK-90 HUD symbology above 500m. Max distance release cue not showing correctly. Added U-22 Jammer Mode E (always transmits). Added non-tracer AKAN gunpod. Fixed Jammer warmup not being skipped during hotstart. Fixed U-22 (old) warning light not showing during warmup. Fixed X-TANK BRÄ light showing <50% RPM instead of <70%. Fixed airbrakes not auto-retracting with landing gear releasing. Added feature that allows airbrakes to be stopped in an intermediate position. Added “_(...)” to keybinds for l10n. Now keybinds are localizable. EDIT: Dear everyone, please accept our apologies, we made a mistake in uploading the build as we run several branches simultaneously, and as a result unfortunately the RB-05 fixes are not included in this patch. They are however done and working and will be in the next patch or hotfix. Thank you for your very kind patience and for bringing the issue to our attention. Our sincere apologies again, we hope you enjoy this patch nonetheless.4 points

I experienced the same when I tried to launch Open Beta MT. Authorization failed, and all my purchased modules were disabled. I could only fly the Tf-51 and the Su-25. A horror scenario. I suspect the failed authorization was related to the massive download activity for the new OB update. But there is no excuse for failure to allow off-line use of the software.4 points

Really happy to see the Viggen being actively maintained, I purchased this module back on January 2017 right after watching @Bunyap's videos on it, and actively flew it for most of that year, until November, when I moved on to the Harrier. I intend to return to the Viggen once the Kola Map gets released, at that point I will re-learn it and check on all the items mentioned on the changelogs since that date Thanks a lot for a great and enjoyable Module, without a doubt one of best within DCS3 points
