  2. 1. Wombat got Delta to host a visit for Wags to get sim time at the training center. 2. No F15C FF planned 3. Dynamic Campaign is being worked on 4. No E2, no P8, No Recon aircraft modules planned 5. Some DCS users/fans have sent classified info to ED to try and help further development. ED's stance is to shut down the effort and they don't want anything to do with it. 6. ED will not be attempting to develop 5th gen or any current frontline assets as they can't confirm systems operation 7. Roughly 170-180 people working for ED worldwide. 8. The F4E is gonna be pretty cool, with new module features not seen in DSC prior. 9. The P8 flyover of the football game did not impress anyone. 10. ED is working on a DTC function for FF modules. Gonky believes they should leave this out of a "Fun" sim title. 11. No planned flyable B17 12. No bombers planned 13. ED is still planning to make a full spherical world map. 14. C-130 is still work in progress, developer and ED are working on cargo system. 15. Chinook Logistics will come after aircraft completion, cargo system and dynamic campaign. 16. Development priorities for ED are centered on products and features that satisfy the largest DCS user demographics. 17. No Viper A, B or D planned 18. F-5E update question to WAGS reveals that there are secret plans for an F-5E update in the future and WAGS can't talk about it. 19. VULCAN API is a huge project and it's in the works. 2024 and beyond. 20. ED is currently working on WWII assets and more specifically for the Marianas map. Naval assets mentioned for WWII Naval Aviation. -----I might of missed a few points, but interesting listening. Had to walk away halfway through video.. ----- 21. Lots of talk about Aliens. Mostly doubt that the congressional hearing had any legitimate substance. WAGS feels we will find out soon enough that there is financial gain somewhere. 22. Why no F-18D? WAGS, says resources are elsewhere and now is not the right time to start the "D" when the "C" isn't finished. 23. User request for a kneeboard you can write on and is available in F10 mission planner. WAGS agrees it is a good idea. 24. User asks, why is the bomb frag damage so small? WAGS says they are actively working on a higher fidelity fragmentation bubble. 25. Wombat brought Gonky to an A-320 sim and Gonky kicked too much right rudder and freaked the sim out. More picking on Gonky. 26. User asks if current Maps will be merged into the Spherical map project. WAGS answered no, that the technology is the limiting factor. 27. User asks about small diameter bombs. WAGS answered if the aircraft would carry SDB's, then it's an option for the future if they can get the documentation to back it up. 28. No planned Japanese aircraft modules or assets for WWII period. 29. Talk about "Mass Effect", "Cyberpunk" and "StarField" 30. Another request for an F-35. WAGS, says absolutely not as there is no legitimate info available. 31. User asks about a Vairo Aero fix and WAGS says they don't have the headset and the company can't afford to buy every piece of hardware. 32. Somebody wants a "TurboCat" Module. Nobody knew what it was. 33. Question about the "AI Texture Controversy".. WAGS doesn't know what they are talking about.. 34. There are some "Century Series" fighters in the development pipeline. Had to walk away again.. with about 50 minutes left..

  5. @IronMike There are two kinds of hard work - one is easier to bear than the other. Work of passion and work of obligation. I'd rather wait a couple of month more than have your people grind themselves down. You're adults, and it's not my place to tell you - but take care of yourselves!

  6. @BIGNEWY Please can the ideas mbucchia created become part of DCS? VR is the future of this game (for me at least). You are sitting in a cockpit rather than sitting at a desk.

  8. By the way, I received some good news from @BIGNEWY in regards to DCS helicopter mod capabilities. He said ED is working on a change that should help with these helicopter mod issues. I'm really looking forward to see what it is. I will definitely make more AI aircraft. Maybe, we'll see.

  9. Both versions are available. A lot of the earlier Katran had the GOES-451. I have the OES-52 on the list for a later release.

  13. Great. Now we have the specifications. Get them from Bogey Dope and post them or PM them to ED.

  14. Thanks! I thought I'd caught all these. The issue is that I don't experience the issue since DCS will load the textures from one of my other assets. I will add them in the next release.

  17. Я в флайтсим летал на релизе и многочисленные баги автогена выгнали меня летать в южную Африку, где из-за скудности местности автогену было проще и он не рисовал дикую чушь.

  18. I have updated my weapons guide with bomb lofting section and autopilot with new graphics, but much more importantly……. I have added my own translation of an aerodynamics document that explains the aerodynamic features and issues of the Mi-24, including graphs giving control deflection/trim needed for level flight at different speeds, and for different flight modes. It includes many other graphs and information that may be of interest. I have put a lot of work into interpreting the graphs and doing my best to explain them, let me know if I got anything from or if there is any suggestions Aerodynamics Translated: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ooc_8euzYEI21G2IV7X1xWMd1mlv7ess/view?usp=drivesdk

  34. It's perfectly possible, in many other campaigns I made the player flies as wingman. However, to do this in The Big Show, that's a redesign from scratch nearly so it's not gonna happen.

  35. @6S.Duke This has been brought up as part of "issue-lists", but I figured it be good to have a dedicated topic to keep track. The click boxes in the cockpit in general are way to small to be useful. With steady views it is workable, but with trackir, it gets annoying at times. This is how the click boxes are (red), and this is how they should be (green blue) - basically as big as possible for ease of use: (Sorry, circles are hand drawn, but you get the idea!) Those are just examples - all the other switches and dials need the same treatment. Thank you

  37. I suppose for some of that you can refer to real cockpit screenshots or even to our cockpit shots we shared on media or even from the trailer. For reference, this is the pilot pit: and this the WSO pit: If you got any question what is what, just ask

  38. This has always been possible. The only factor is whether or not someone decides to develop it.

  39. Channel separation is a huge thing which AWACS needs. Not just for CAP vs CAS missions, but even for separating comms for multiple flights of the same type prosecuting different objectives. A real-world E3 has seats for up to TWENTY mission crew (IE: controllers) Each of those controllers can be working multiple frequencies (I don't know how the USAF divides but, but civil ATCs are often expected to manage 2-3 separate freqs). The DCS AWACS model works fine for single-player missions, where it's really just simulating the controller assigned to the PLAYER's flight. This even works OK for simple multiplayer missions, where everyone is in the same flight. But once you have 3+ flights working multiple objectives, the built-in AWACS becomes useless FAST. Most folks i know only put them in the mission for the datalink picture, and either use scripts to generate AWACS calls which are relevant to each individual flight, or use LotATC and have an actual player do it.

  41. Just for information and to enlighten folks as the correct documented procedure for engine shutdown, as laid out in A.P (Air Publication)2019E updated to AL5 (Amendment List 5) in 1944. (Image provided). There are many versions of the pilot notes on the internet, often dated from the 1950s but the January 1944, reprinted April 1944, reprinted August 1945 are the versions upon which the DCS mosquito is modelled. I am not saying this will improve your experience but it will give you the correct basic procedure to follow. I hope it helps. Cheers.

  42. With massive help from @joey45 and @Hawkeye60 one of the two cats of CVA-31 is currently operational. No screens as of now, as the JBDs are not animated and the shuttle is a plain cube that move async to the plane ... but at least a steam cat assisted launch is now possible! Work on the updated tripod mast of the Maddox continues, and I might be able to get new hull textures for the destroyer.
