I have a TM Warthog and I was able to map it to a four way hat. Don’t know if that was what you were trying to do or you were trying buttons. Just trying to help.

I think there is still a wait before this happens, but if you want the preorder price just go for it when you can. I think there will still be time. I think I am going to wait until it releases. I’m doing some other updates and may get a new rig soon, so I’ll be plenty busy.

Track files in DCS can become corrupted for no reason. Don’t expect ever replay to work right. Here is a video that may help

DCS Intermittent Sound Issues
Iron Sights replied to Panther04X's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
Check to make sure your sound output device matches what you are using in the DCS settings. I use headphones and I noticed the sound was off, it was using the the default sound settings in DCS. Changed it to match my device. Don’t know if this will help, but it’s worth checking. -
I still didn’t notice this as a fix in the new patch. Anybody checked it yet?

Trim behavior acting weird and unexpected... unable to center
Iron Sights replied to hannibal's topic in Bugs and Problems
Is that setting like rudder assist in a warbird? Suppose to help, but you end up fighting it. -
Deka Simulations announces the DCS: J-8II for DCS World!
Iron Sights replied to Mike_Romeo's topic in DCS: J-8II
I agree, another full fidelity red force plane, nuff said. -
DCS: Mosquito FB VI livery competition
Iron Sights replied to BIGNEWY's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
I do agree that the Mosquito could use a few more skins. I’m also happy to see a campaign come for it as well. I’m not much at making skins, but I wish everyone the best of luck and can’t wait to get some add on skins. -
Works for me but the alignment is not perfect, but that may be caused by the angle from the pod and the pylons. Close enough though.

Firing on the move is no different then cranking when you are flying a fighter. You fire and try to make yourself hard to hit. Now the radar guided hellfire will make a difference as well. Because it would be fire and forget.

fixed internally Reactor nozzle heat effect
Iron Sights replied to Rongor's topic in Bugs and Problems
I have noticed that did seem quite right, compared to the others, but I wasn’t sure. Unless the engine so hot that nozzle is radiating heat? -
Tells me enough. Some things may have gotten better with FM updates, but it looks close.

This is just business. When you are producing a product for profit you cannot let someone else take that away from you. I understand the rationale around why it was done the way it was done at the time and maybe that was the hold up, in the end. I’m sure it will be fine in the long run. For me, I’m fine with everything that transpired today and in the end it is only a prerelease. Remember there will be an early access release as well. To all that are upset, go dust off that module you have never really played to tide you over. You know the one, we all have one.

Sounds good.

Looks like it’s coming along nicely. Maybe it will released on the next patch?

Have to agreed with Shaker14 on this one. What is the question?

Think the F-15 Release is/will have an Impact
Iron Sights replied to Czechnology's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
I agree with what is the most part the popular opinion. I’ll be getting both and yes I do know there is a big difference between them and I love it! Go Cold War, go modern, go Cold War, go modern, get it. The F-4 is Indy car back in the day, easy to kill yourself, compared to now. -
Deka Simulations announces the DCS: J-8II for DCS World!
Iron Sights replied to Mike_Romeo's topic in DCS: J-8II
I’m always happy to see a new module announcement. However, I think we can wait to pass judgement on it as there are no development screenshots yet. For all you know it might just what you wanted. For me, it adds another red 4 jet which equals great! If it’s cool, I’ll fly it. -
Check your barometric settings. If you are above a certain altitude, say Nevada, it won’t ever stop being pegged at 1900 because you haven’t adjusted your field settings.

Not much on the light. It means module in French. I drove the EE pretty hard yesterday chasing a MiG and nothing like that. I’ll poke around and see if I find something.

Leave your throttle in idle cut off until rpm’s reach 1200 and click it to idle and it will run. There was a change made from the old 300 rpm snap the throttle forward startup procedure.
