  1. I was flying the EE most of last night, had no issues with the autopilot, are you above Mach .9? The autopilot doesn’t like the transonic region of flight.

    Warning Fuel Low

    I can relate, I flamed out the engines after draining my feed tanks during a low level burner run, ever since I keep the feeder tank fuel levels displayed on the gauge. It’s not an issue at higher altitudes as the fuel air ratio is different, the feeder ranks drain slower, the pumps can keep up.

    I’ve found if you go into the radio 2 menu and turn on man - am it works
  9. Tired and juvenile? How rude, but I’d honestly say around 14 days.
  10. If you want to power all the systems with ground power you’ll also need to have ground air connected and applied for equipment cooling, then all the ground power switches on the left rear will stay on
  11. I'm relatively new to the strike eagle so I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. The left feed tank only fills to 1200 lbs. while the right feed tank fills to 1500 lbs. In the Tomcat and Hornet they balance out automatically so i assume that both feed tanks should be the same here too. I'm running DCS multi threading on the latest open beta. tested on cold start and hot start jet.

  13. It’s been a while since I used the f16 but try cursor zero on the targeting pod before you go back to nav mode, that might be easier.
  14. You might also want to try sweep your wings back to 50 degrees, it increases your AOA which will drop your vertical stabs down out of the disturbed air coming off the tanker wing. I’ve not tried it myself in sim but I’ve seen on Ward Carrol’s YouTube channel that they used to do that.

  17. Since the last open beta update the landing gear indicator light textures are broken. Both the red and green lights are missing textures.
  18. Even the old gazelle helicopter used by the British army had sheepskin seat covers. Friend of mine in the air corps “acquired” one when they retired them and uses it when he’s simming
  19. I’m not sure if it’s related to this issue but I’ve found that the nav lights also work without the battery being on.

    F-18 boring?

    Try doing some night flights or bad weather stuff. Landing on the boat at night with high wind and rain with bad visibility after a successful sortie is far from boring.

    ACLS problems

    Figured it out, i had the weather set wrong, it was giving me a case 2 approach instead of a case 3. I am rusty!
  23. I'm back to the hornet after a long break and trying to re-learn ACLS. Everything is fine up to the point i send the platform message at 5000 ft and 250 kts then ACLS just stops, the commanded altitude, airspeed and rate of descent on the link 4 page goes blank and it's as if I'm on a case 1 approach. Has anything changed recently? I used Waggs video as a refresher, at 11:37 where he sends platform and gets guidance to descend to 1200 ft at 250 kts i get nothing.
