  1. Is there an API control function to trigger start dictate and end dictate ? can't get the thing to recognise what I say reliably
  2. Hi, I noticed that on our MP server, if I have voiceAttack running the communication menu randomly appears and disappears. I tried deleting all the keybinds to the comm menu under the general and plane specific options but no change. Anyone experienced that? SOLVED: Ended up redownloading / re-installing and the erratic behaviour is gone...
  3. Thanks Maxsenna.... it is probably that indeed..will test tonight but makes total sense
  4. Vaicom kneeboard question... flew a campaign mission on M2000 last night and noticed that everytime there would be a transmission (awacs/flight lead etc) the kneeboard would reset to the vaicom pinned kneeboard. Regardless of what page I was on. Super annoying. Known issue or me alone?
  5. Still have a nagging question: You say " I recommend you navigate to the latest release page: https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/-/tree/openxr " but all I see there is a link to a openvr_api.dll which you provide a link to yourself. So not sure if there is anything on that release page that is useful to our process and needs to be downloaded ?
  6. +1. The source of the rivers is also...well...ugly at the moment...a river grows slowly
  7. ??? I play MP mostly and my 3080 is clearly the bottleneck in my system with frametime about 2x that of the CPU
  8. Hi, came across your post as I am looking to make a basic frame of the M2000 cockpit. I just need an outline for now as I fly in VR and use pointCtrl to flip virtual switches...but good to feel the panels of the cockpit. Your 2d drawing are no longer avail on the link.. can you share them again?
  9. Has anyone got trouble with the auto-updates? mine pops up that update (for apache) are availble...seems to download/restart but then the auto-update window keeps coming back... Any idea on how to solve that is welcome.
  10. Gr8 app. Any way to scale / place the kneeboard in VR though? Mine appears too big and in the wrong place so always have to move it then scale it...
  11. Fair enough Not sure how reactive they are but have to try that
  12. Thnks for this Mod. Given that datacatridges are meant to be able to preplan flight plans it would make total sense to be able to plan using Combatflite. Once a flight plan is done in combatflite, the user would simply export the file from combatflite (like NS430 export file) and then import that file directly into DMPS (i.e DMPS being able to import a .dat file) or just have a 'conversion tool' to convert that NS430 (.dat) file into a .DTC file. Just a suggestion but would greatly enhance the tool
  13. Anyone using this mod with the M2000? does it work? Think it is not entering coord in the right format
  14. 1st you do not need 90fps to be smooth and fluid. 45fps is plenty. 2nd others have tried this and realised vram not that important beyond 12gb 3rd DCS is more CPU bound typically so check your frametime on CPU. Don't think worth upgrading at all... much better use the money to buy a better VR headset...that will really change your experience.
  15. Razbam has introduced a bug by fixing another one. You cannot enter waypoints anymore at the moment (only using TOO). They will fix next release
  16. Hi Lasko, FYI it seems latest update has broken WP editor for AV8B. entering 77 as wp number no longer works.
  17. ED has focussed more on developing new modules (brings money in) and have let the main engine fall behind badly. We all recognise this and have done so for a while but haven't seen much happening to indicate a change in this course alas
  18. you can find resources on vr4dcs website/discord channel. Generally Dburne is correct the first thing is to llok for rogue processes, put the vr compositors etc as high priority, and set HAGS / game mode (off mostly but depends on which windows u use). I also find that closing browsers seems to help for me. I see u r running flightpanels... might be a culprit too (I have no experience there so just pointing potential. things to try). Good debug practice is to not launch any program u use on top of DCS (vrkneeboard type add ons) as sometimes they interefere badly for no obvious reason. Hope u manage to fix that because frustration takes the fun away!
  19. It is not a bug. It is something razbam introduced in the latest update because not having any waypoints was messing up with the INS… so they fixed the INS bug by introducing an anomaly… doh! . Note that this wp1 (just a few nm north of the aircraft’s position) is only created if no other waypoint has been entered in the mission editor, i.e aircraft spawned with no predefined waypoints.
  20. What else are you considering? I have the Varjo Aero and very wide sweet spot is massively useful for spotting...miles better than G2. Clarity is also brillant but FOV is similar. I would not go back to the G2 now but if FOV is what u r after then look elswhere.
  21. Yeah. I only do MP but we do not have pre-configured aircrafts. Guess it won't work for everyone unless one gets the option to add or overwrite.
  22. Well either u use the mission editor to create your waypoints for the mission or u use the waypoint editor. We don’t use both. If we create a flight plan in wp editor it will have all the wp we need for the mission. So any random wp entered before is not wanted. The random wp1 that is now automatically created (if there are no predefined wps in the mission editor) is always useless so needs to be overwritten. We plan our mission data cards (flightplan kneeboard) with all our wps on it. With this rogue wp1 we always end up with a useless wp1 in the aircraft's system and the wp1 as per our mission data card ends up being wp2 in the aircraft system. We never use wp editor in flight…if we need to add just 1 wp or modify 1 then we just do it on the aircraft scratchpad…faster and easier. We use wp esitor to enter the full flightplan we need for the mission. So wp1 in wp editor should always be wp1 in the aircraft system same for wp2, wp3 etc
  23. You cannot delete a wp that already exists. You can only edit it. The issue is wp editor enters the wp number not as 1 then 2 then 3 … but as 77 which creates a new waypoint after the last number that exists already. Since we now always have wp1 it creates the 1st wp on the list as wp2. The solution is therefore to enter the wp number and not use 77. So do loop starting at 1 to the number of waypoints in the profile. hope that is clearer. Let me know if not
  24. Don't forget these poor AV8B pilots still crying over this mandatory wp1 thingy
