  1. Latest statement from ED's Official News Thread: "The DCS: Mirage F1 will benefit from an Early Access 20% discount that is now available on the DCS e-Shop and Steam Edition." and: "The Mirage F1 is now available in Early Access. Do not forget to take advantage of the 20% Early Access discount." FWIW
  2. I'm not on Steam version, but I hope discount lasts at least as long as F1 needs to get to stable DCS. An answer from the team would be very appreciated.
  3. Dear Aerges Team, although I wasn't really into Mirage F1 so far, all I saw and read about it got me hooked. So I'm quite sure I won't regret buying it, as soon as it is downloadable for me. I'm on stable DCS and I'd like to know how long the discount of 20% will last? Is is a EA discount and ends with it or just a discount for the first days/weeks?
  4. 12 EA 21 not EA non clickables not counted.
  5. My apologies. I wasn't aware that other regions haven't corrected their prices yet.
  6. @2:11 passiert also nicht nur in DCS, dass Bomben kurz nach dem Abwerfen zusammenprallen und sich gegenseitig hoch jagen. sehr interessant. (edit: slebe Szene aus ner noch schöneren Perspektive @3:05)
  7. please be aware that there is an issue with game getting dark (in any module) right after loading a mission that is "solved" by reloading the mission. Have you guys tried that?
  8. Like @Rudel_chwrepeated, this thread was made as the discount did not exist (by mistake). Talking about th value one has to consider the F1M: "The project included a revised cockpit with colour LCDs and a Smart HUD from Sextant Avionique, a Sextant inertial navigation system with GPS interface; NATO-compatible Have Quick 2 secure communications; Mode 4 digital IFF; a defensive aids suite; and flight recorders.[85] The radar was upgraded to Cyrano IVM standard, adding sea search and air to ground ranging modes." (from English Wikipedia) An early F1CE, a modernised F1EE, the first supersonic trainer (as mentioned above) F1BE and a 1999-2001 F1M for 79,99$-20%-10% ED Miles = 57,60$ is not so overpriced to me that it gets me concerned. (I've more concerns about the gas for my Ferrari which is the cost for the 450W of the next gen graphic cards.)
  9. Did you return the lever into neutral position after extending/retracting?

The key-binding has been moved from aircraft controls to "GUI Layer" some time ago.
  11. Ich find man merkt, dass es heut sau warm is. Wie warm wird's egentlich so in.... nem Tornado?
  12. Just use AG radar in sea mode to get the range and bearing of the target and feed the Harpoon with that info. And in the early 1970s there was no super accurate AG weapon and certainly none of that range. That's why Harpoon was developed. Even in DCS there are not many of those.
  13. Just start the mission. Use the F-keys to change camera view. E.g. F2 for all aircraft (as long as you haven't disabled external camera views in the mission options). You also can change from each view to a free camera that you can move with mouse. If you don't have a "player" piloted aircraft you are a spectator automatically. Edit: you know there is a time scale +/- option too?
  14. You could replace the player/client pilot of your plane with an AI.
  15. You know you're addicted to DCS when... ... you spend most of the time that you are not flying here in the forums.

  18. Is that the right Anubis? I'm just asking because none of his posts seems to be be related to the Herc mod. (My Russian is close to zero though.)
  19. Agreed. But even those didn't have the opportunity to come back to every aircraft, each day like we have it in DCS. That was my point when I said it is unrealistically overwhelming (in a good way for me). And yes, we are all Sim-Test-Pilots
  20. The high degree of realism that DCS offers is at the same time the reason for something very unrealistic: I can easily claim that not a single pilot in the history of aviation has ever had the opportunity to fly that many aircraft, fixed wings helicopters, VTOLs,... in his lifetime at the same time. What OP experiences is the natural outcome of something overwhelming. I for one enjoy this advantage over any real pilot. Especially in VR a module is worth buying for me as soon as I feel the cockpit, listen to the sound, get it airborne and back to the ground. Everything else is a bonus.
  21. Well, after knowing that INS has an accuracy of about +/- 75m in both dimensions, I don't think hitting a target right on the spot (in DCS) has anything to do with the INS, as long as it isn't completely off. And yes, it should round correctly, what it does not atm, but I'll go with @itn and won't care too much about it, as long as GPS does its magic. The thread was/is still interesting for me though. Thanks for that.
