  1. I was born there too! Always thought Broadstairs was the nicest of the towns, but lived in and preferred the surrounding villages in Thanet.
  2. Living fairly close to Margate, I can only say its disappearance would be no great loss.
  3. I don't know if this is intended or not, but I noticed the other day that on my squads training server, when I was attacking a SA-10, defended by several SA-15's, that the SA-15's didn't react to my HARMS if fired from POS RUK mode, yet if fired from HAS mode did? I presume the mode fired shouldn't make a difference with regard to that... 4 HARMS fired in HAS mode, all shot down, Exactly the same target and approach, but fired in POS mode, all four not intercepted, SA-15's don't react at all.
  4. + 1 whatever's more than a squilluion!
  5. Not in the version we have, no bombardier, and no glass nose.
  6. In Dogfight mode you can use the HMCS combined with the Aim 120 very well. You can radar lock with the helmet up to 10 miles, and fire off bore with 120's, well before you are in Aim 9 range. Saying a sweeping statement like you don't use the HMCS for a 120, is not completely accurate at all, but obviously you won't be pulling off incredible off bore shots like with the Aim 9X. Quick little vid I made a while back, As to the OP, leave it in Slave when using the Helmet cuing system. Lock target with TMS up in the big circle and fire. Bore setting is only to have it go pitbull of the rail and has very limited uses outside of a few specific cases and has no use with the HMCS.
  7. Under special settings for the F 16 have you got the afterburner detent box checked. If so, you need to map a button to push through into afterburner, or uncheck it. It defiantly has one....
  8. As said above, the 'nose wheel steering/ missile step button'
  9. You can map it to an axis in the F 16, I have it on a rotary on my throttle.
  10. This thread can be summed up simply as somebody sucks at flying the Spitfire, so it must be rubbish......
  11. Nope before the banana forums, back on the ubizoom il2 forums....
  12. You and many other people...

  16. Hey ViFF, long time, hope all is well with you:thumbup:
  17. Landing an F16 using the ILS from 10 miles out and 3000ft in blind conditions.... And using Tacan to get to 10 miles out at 3000ft aligned with the runway before hand....
  18. Hi, I've just started to properly learn the Hornet, after flying in the F16 a lot since it came out, and wondered if there are buttons with multi functions in the Hornet, like in the F16. For example in the F16 holding TMS right for a second will change between RWS mode and TWS mode, holding the nosewheel steer button will cycle between missile types etc... Any help appreciated
  19. This is my biggest annoyance with the F16, much preferred it a few patches ago when the forces were equal.
