The virtual Task Force 77 recruitment is now open once again and looking for skilled pilots. Who are we: vTF-77 is a DCS fighter, attack, and expeditionary task force, dedicated to providing a realistic experience within the 'mil sim' environment, while providing immersive and tactical operations for our pilots. That said, we are also about having fun in that experience. As a task force we have a great love for Air Force, Naval, and marine aviation and have squadrons available for all seeking the unique cultures those squadrons provide. These squadrons and its command team have a lot of experience in a wide range of tactics and procedures in both the virtual and real world. We are based out of the west coast of North America and conduct trainings every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:00 PST on our our own dedicated servers. We also hold regular missions and campaigns throughout the year involving our diverse airframes, as well as off night sessions dedicated to building team morale and just have fun. We are able and willing to train new members. Willingness to be coachable and learn with a willingness to improve as a pilots. Able to attend at least 50% of training nights per month. 1st CAB Demon Brigade Calling all rotary wing enthusiasts. Demon Brigade wants you! We are a newly conceived unit that will be focusing on the rotary wing aircraft of DCS. We are currently forming regiments for the Apache and the recently released Blackhawk mod as well as the Huey. The Kiowa will follow when a release date is announced. Demon Brigade is at its heart a casual simulation experience. We don't take ourselves too seriously but we will check for some basic competence in rotorcraft. If you are new to helicopters we will be happy to help you learn the ways of the chopper. Our aim is to provide a friendly atmosphere where the love of flying helicopters can be fostered amongst all who join. We are in the process of getting 2 servers running and will offer a training server as well as missions specifically designed for helicopters. We offer our members a realistic squadron environment (Stan/Eval, Training, Scheduling, Tactics, etc). We have created training syllabi for multiple courses and more on the way (Pilot Initial Qualification, Pilot Mission Qualification, 2 Ship Flight Lead, 4 Ship Flight Lead, Instructor, Evaluator, etc). About Us: We are the 457th Virtual Fightin' Spads, a Mil-Sim Squadron flying the F-16C in DCS. We are committed to providing our members with a professional and fun environment to fly in. All new members must pass Pilot Initial Qualification and Mission Qualification before being Mission Ready Wingmen. While this does serve as a right of passage into our ranks, it also ensures that we are capable of flying missions in online servers. Once our pilots obtain Mission Ready status, there are several other training courses we offer to keep building skill and gaining responsibility. Hello DCS Community! The TAW EU Squadron is looking for new recruits to bolster our ranks. We are looking for people of all skill levels from beginner to advanced, in both A/A and A/G - as long as you can get your favorite airframe airborne and can communicate in English you are set. We run our main PvP event every Sunday 1845 Zulu(GMT) and an additional weekly training (currently on Wednesdays at 1900 Zulu). We regularly fly modern jets but encourage our members to try stepping out of their comfort zone with occasional events set in different time periods. Task Force Valhalla was founded as a place for DCS members to fly together in realistic, coordinated operations while minimizing the milsim nature of most DCS squadrons. While we do have ranks, they are solely tied to the proven proficiency in your airframe, and our squadron commanders are chosen by community vote for their dedication in their airframe. We try to democratize as much as possible in the Task Force and have representatives from all squadrons provide input and vote on any changes that affect everyone. We'd like to think our missions are unique, and we hope to get more active mission makers to increase the storytelling and depth available to our members. We currently use HighDigitSAMs integrated with Skynet-IADS in all of our missions, and implement realistic ROE and border patrols. We try to flesh out the ground environment as much as time allows and are experimenting more and more with voiced AIs! Currently we're midway through our first campaign, which is a police action in Georgia as Ossetian and Abkhazian forces attempt to obstruct the construction of a new pipeline in Georgia and unify as the Alanian Republic. Our campaign nights are FRIDAY, 9PM CST with briefing ramping up 30 minutes beforehand. We also have weekly scheduled training nights every Monday at 9PM CST. We just have a few basic requirements to join • Must be 18 years old to join • Must own the F-16, AJS37 Viggen, A-10CII Tank Killer, or Mirage 2000C OR be willing to own LotATC if you'd just like to GCI. • To fly in weekly ops, we require all members to pass a basic type rating in their chosen aircraft. This basically boils down to being able to takeoff, navigate, use the aircraft's most basic weapons, and land. Most people that have been flying the aircraft for about a week should be able to at least stumble through it successfully and you'll have someone who will help you through it. We're more than happy to train you even if you've never flown the module before or are new to DCS! • We have no attendance requirement, but we do require you to RSVP every week to let our dedicated mission makers have an accurate head count so they can tune the campaigns properly. 93rd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Outriders" Commander: Capt. F10 holds the special distinction of providing all of Task Force Valhalla's precision intelligence. Their ELINT missions are the only reason any flight can use a pre-planned target or has knowledge of the precise location of our adversary's mobile SAM network.
