Is it implemented? you will need to place some troops in the editor and use the embarking and disembarking in advanced waypoints It is very much like the sling loads with the radio, Once you are in range you can select them in the radio menu for a smoke marker, land next to them and load them via the radio menu. Once loaded fly to the landing point, again once in range you can use the radio menu to place smoke, land and return to the radio menu to disembark the troops. I did that by giving infnatry team "embarking" advanced waypoint command and chose Uh-1H heli group. Uh-1H alslo had a advanced waypoint action "embarking" set. At heli landing point I've added "disembarking" command for infantry group. No clue if that's the right way to do it. That works for AI heli. My YT channel https://www.youtube.com/user/corvuscorp81

I thought at least Ka-50 already had a LWR - it previously didn't work against player-controlled ground vehicles? I assume that pilots will only get the laser warning if the CA player attempts to target them with the enter key. That said, the main cannon kills against helicopters I have managed to get were without using the targeting system because the helicopter was evading too much to get a lock in time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Seems to work for me if you define both the embark and the disembark zones for the grunts, and don't try to kick them out before you've actually reached the disembark waypoint / landing zone. And take care to land inside the zone too. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

Downloading 13 GB @ 20 kb/s isn't really satisfying to be honest :( Several people who had the same problem said that when they canceled the download and started again, their download rates increased dramatically. Sometimes they had to give it a couple of tries, though.

If you are friends with your local PC repair shop most have T1 lines, even if not they may do you a favor? customer satisfaction or a potential DCS Customer if you can convenes them to get the Sim. I think my updater is broken or something, I had to mess with my computers clock/date to get it to update to the 1.2.8 and now it hasn't even ran to get the new update that was released? EDIT: NVM it worked. Did they fix the F-15 cockpit not showing the correct engine power on the indicator?

If you are referring to the engines reading 96% at full throttle, that is how it is IRL. Also note that afterburner doesn't affect RPM (again, as in real life). So far the only other sims I know of, that correctly simulates afterburning engines is BMS, btw, F-15C and F-16 block 42/52 have the same engine, and it tops at 96% RPM in both sims :thumbup: Windows 10 - Intel i7 7700K 4.2 Ghz (no OC) - Asus Strix GTX 1080 8Gb - 16GB DDR4 (3000 MHz) - SSD 500GB + WD Black FZEX 1TB 6Gb/s

I have a dual dedicated DSL line termed "Bonded DSL" connection. I did not previously have the open beta from before. Last night spent about 8 hours trying to download the 1.2.8 Beta with no luck, from here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/dcs_world_open_beta/ Looks to be the same link you referenced. But I was violating the DCS Prime Directive of not using a modded directory. I just wanted access to the 104th and 159th MP servers, not interested in beta testing or reporting. I was attempting to update using a copy of the "Mod-X" modded current 1.2.7 directory. That was a no-go! Well, the beta installation installed OK today using the unmodded, current DCS World vanilla version. This vanilla version of DCS World does not include the 104th's anti-cheat mod; so will be interesting if I can access their server without it. Decided to read through this forum for answers.
