No point in either as neither of them carried missiles as I remember and were guns, guns, guns.

The F-86 carried an early model AIM-9.

Put the MIG in the air with no guns and take it down with the A10

Rather pointless poll. The Mig, if it ever exists, will come out so long after the F-86 that the answer is irrelevant.

I am happy to see that the vote is evenly divided... but I wouldn't waste 1 second of time in an F86 until there was a flyable, high fidelity MiG15. That would change everything in my world!

I would (will!) - because I want to learn the aircraft - and how to wring as much performance out of it; make it roll over, play dead, sit up, beg, etc.

However - I agree with the assumption in your statement that the MiG-15 would make the Sabre 1,000x more useable in game scenarios, and it's really a needed "other side of the coin".

Anyone who actually looks at this forum would probably buy DCS: seagull

Hey, I have money earmarked for DCS: Spitball - so long as it has AFM and a click-able cockpit ....

The MIG-15 is being made by a 3rd party, apparently it's in the more advanced stages of development, they are keeping very quiet about it. It was mentioned in the russian forum as was this info mentioned in a previous post in this thread. :)

I will get both simply because for the next rounds they (Developers) will move on to the next (hopefully) generation of jets....Vietnam era....please.

i'm not going to vote

by saying i'll fly the 86 more than the 15, i don't want to "discourage" ED or 3rd parties

i am DEFINITELY excited to hear a MiG-15 is in the works

i literally plan on BUYING modules that i don't intend to fly very much - if only just to support ED/3rd-party-devs/DCS-in-general

yeah, i'll buy the -15

"probably" won't be flying it much

my interests are mainly A-A --- and US A-A at that

make that "modern" US A-A

that's just where my interests lie

but i will def be supporting the overall DCS effort

The word is out that Belsimtek is in the process of making a flyable MiG-15!

They just don't tell anyone about this.

please stop spreading off the whim mis-information without proof/evidence to back up your claim,

No point getting everyone's hopes up for something that hasnt been officially announced.

that's still vague, one can argue that they are simply talking about the AI MIG-15.

I suspected it'd be Belsim all along. It wouldn't make any sense to put all that work into the Sabre then handing the 15 to their competitor. No big surprise there.

Now I'm more interested in what Yo-Yo is afraid to jinx. Hmm...

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
