we shouldn't expect all respects being included in the initial ver. of dcs 2.0

Yeah, I didn't mean day one feature but I was wondering if there is some info on this at all.

I dont think they have given any information that I know of about thermal simulation or if any changes can or will be done with EDGE on this.

Thanks.

I kind of like it that way anyways. Means there's always something down the road to look forward to.

Exactly! I love the thought that this is the foundation to allow for greater things in the months/years to come.

Will it be possible to have sandstorms in NTTR?

I think that question is covered in this post.

Q: Will EDGE have [something that's not in the first post of this thread]?

A: We don't know and nobody will tell us!

would be really cool if they do use that cloud tech. Can't say unless confirmed by ED though.

The clouds shown in this video seems like the ones we saw in some of the EDGE videos. Maybe a part of that tech has been used?

Just to chat - not to speculate on anything :)

The seamless transition and incredible plasticity in the long distance view shot are really impressive.

I don't think the EDGE map tools will be freely available to the community.
The Map SDK is available to qualified 3rd party development teams. Interested parties can PM me with detailed proposals.

If you think you have what it takes to build maps, by all means PM Wags, and tell him you would like to apply to become a 3rd Party map builder.

Well, that sucks then. It was said that those that backed the WW2 kickstarter would be able to build maps with map SDK. Limited to certain size of the map but still. I very much doubt it that Wags would grant someone 3rd party status if that person just wants to be creative and do something for himself.
