Caucasus Map Texture DLC by Starway

First of all: Starway, great textures, I love them and will instantly buy them to support your work.

But: I don't think that it's the right move to not update the standard textures. New players will more likely stay when the graphics are better, which is good for ED. So, please ED, give Starway money and make these textures standard for Caucasus.

Why is the left side overexposed?

 

 

As described in the first post, this mod also includes the distant textures (low res background textures) which have more contrast. These textures have a big effect on the overall look of the map. Same with the modified config files.

I am sad that the airport will not receive textures in HD. Now I do not know if I will buy it. :'(

The new texture set was created from scratch. So there is not much left of the Northern Europe Mod :)

I'm just not sure there will be enough of a difference for some folks to part with $15.00. It's looks very much like the NE mod which is fantastic.

What about the TGP Starway? If the noise is at vanilla levels, this pack is a no buy for whoever flies the A-10C.

Activation restrictions?

 

Because it's so good-looking, I can tolerate a little fps slow-down, but I am utterly tired of dealing with the antiquated Starforce 'stuff'.

I'm really loving what you did here but I have a question before I spend the money on it.

 

Is this going to be compatible when the 1.5/2.0 merger happens or will there be a complete new Caucasus map and this DLC will no longer work? Or will you be also making the textures for the new version of Caucasus (if there will be one)?

Does this include a new mesh? Didn't seem like it from the trailer, but IMHO the Caucuses mesh needs more of an overhaul than the textures.
