I also had to read it twice ... the Eurofighter should come. THAT would be awesome !! I sincerely hope that TrueGrit Virtual Technologies can put together a capable development team. And delight DCS World and us with an ingenious module. I definitely keep my fingers crossed for them! Memories of Super EF2000 from DID are awake ... 'dream'

It has something against the tomcat, mach 1.5 supercruise and a service ceiling at 55k ft at which it can apparently still pull "some g" those amraams are gonna go very far

Didn't DID do a more detailed version of EF2000 for the RAF to help train pilots?

It is not, the eagerly awaited one is an ED module not 3rd party

Amazing news! I've been waiting for proper Typhoon Simulation since 1998 DID Eurofighter 2000! Was really disapointed when the company responsible for bringing to HAWK to DCS vanished from the market as they were in the long process of creating Typhoon. I'm So happy Its finally comming to DCS! :thumbup:

I can confirm that the Newsletter posting on this very board is sans pictures and has been the whole day. Probably the admins however can see things since people have been reporting some invalid access issues ( https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=189136&page=231 ). I've followed the link posted by someone ( https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/screenshots/ ) to see them though and had no issues there.

"Oslo Gardermoen... Tower... Condor... Taxi" is the one I had in mind

And I'll probably never forget that distinct engine sound as well. And the utter lack of NWS HI. That thing had a turn radius on the ground like a fully laden Fortress at 35kft. But the dynamic campaign was so awesome... even better than Microprose's by some opinions. So you see what we'll need?

 

BTW the need for a Tornado now has been doubled!

Could be. Definately brain melting. But somehow I guess that announcement of an announcement was related to something that's being made by ED themselves
