I spend most of my time in single player or the editor or researching the plane/mission for the same - so Single player will be my answer. Same here, the AI are just too predictable to make me feel like I accomplished anything by shooting them down. I like flying to accomplish missions by coordinating with other players while going against other players. Multi Coop can be fun against ground targets sometimes too. Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills. JG14_Smil Posted July 18, 2017 Share Posted July 18, 2017 (edited) Didn't vote as none fit. 99% of the time I fly, I am practicing, just as I would when I flew to get the PPL, I learn to fly as per the manual and I attempt to learn aerobatics by the numbers (more to it than zooming around with smoke on). I can't fly SP and there is only one server that allows me to fly without a gun sight in my L-39, so that is my home base. I'd also guess that people that play MP come to the forum to browse more often (as a group), and so will be over-represented in the poll results. Cheers. I think the Hornet may draw me back to more multiplayer though. Andy1966 Posted July 19, 2017 Share Posted July 19, 2017 mostly SP. got into and was really enjoying some MP WW11, then was on teamspeak and got told to shut up while I was giving another player some tips on taking off Dora with a 500Kg bomb, and there was no other comms going. any way just an example of a reason why server population is low cus that kind of turned me off on mp. just sayin we are not all aces like you We are Virtual Pilots, a growing International Squad of pilots, we fly Allies in WWII and Red Force in Korea and Modern combat. I find that doing it against AI eliminates the human tendency to find any way possible to eek out an advantage even if it lies outside the delineated framework...if you catch my drift. I believe E.D. have said most of their sales go to SP players... (not slightly under or slightly over half) Not in my experience.
