Why has the graphical appearance of the cockpit of the other modules higher priority than this unpleasant defect?

Where-as everything looks beautiful; the P-51 handles awesome and I'm hitting the speeds Im supposed to now!

But the Dam SpitFire IX still has that Cockpit soapy bubble layer overlay on the open canopy!!!

Is this done on purpose? because after 7 updates since this bug was introduced? It well should of been fixed for a fully released module. inquiring minds would like to know?

Other than that the beautiful cockpits on the P51 is awesome!!!

I can't say for myself, because I'm away from my PC, but there's been multiple reports on Facebook also saying this is STILL present.

I don't know how ED does their process, but I would imagine that this could be fixed by parenting the reflection layer (plane?) to the cockpit frame, so when it slides back, so does the layer. Though, if it was so easy as that, I'd also imagine ED would have fixed it by now.

Maybe in a dream, the saddest thing is that the sun is easy to fix once textured!

Can't the reflection texture just be deleted? Lack of reflections from in the cockpit would surely not take away much if any immersion factor, and the cockpit would still look great without it.

Of course it'd be better to have this problem fixed directly, but this^ would be a neat stopgap measure if it's really an issue so difficult that it takes over half a year to work through.

I just don't understand what happened, the OG canopy glass looked great, why they replaced it with baked on textures that broke it altogether is beyond me. Hoping they fix it soon as I'm eager to jump into Reflected's Big Show campaign but I'm holding off pulling the trigger on it until this gets sorted.

Another 2 weeks and another update passes . .

https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3760511&postcount=39

Nothing mentioned about the Canopy and Cockpit issues.

Once downloaded, can someone report if this has actually been attended to, and maybe just not mentioned in the pacth notes?

Nope, not fixed!

The MiG-15 fuselage flickers took almost half a year from [reported] to [fixed] if not more.

Alas, the weird reflection remaining when the canopy is open still remains.

The Mig-15 thing took 18 months.

I don't understand why the supplier has gone silent on this . . .

Maybe something terrible has happened to the supplier... crashed and burned... :pilotfly:

And here we are, left in the dark

I'm deleting/making transparent the reflection texture as soon as I get home. Tired of this.
