Razbam's October 2018 Monthly video

Hey Decoy, I know it is still (very) early but if you have plans for a Mirage-5 & D variant do you have any idea if they be discounted for current Mirage 2000C owners?

I know people have the same question regarding the AV-8B NA and AV-8B+ because of how similar they seem.

Thanks for the video, keep these up!

Modules: FC3, A-10C, M2000C, MiG-21bis, F-86F, AV-8B NA, F/A-18C, F-14A/B, F-16C, F-15E, F-4E, A-29, Eurofighter Typhoon, A-6E, MiG-23MLA, Nevada, Persian Gulf, South Atlantic, Syria, Afghanistan

Pretty certain whenever the AV-8B+ has been brought up in the past they have said it would be a separate module. I can't imagine the -5 and D being any different. Unfortunately flight sims are a niche market and that creates economic realities as much as I would like to get the -5 and D at a discount I doubt it and I honestly wouldn't hold it against Razbam if they don't ultimately they are working very hard on these and bare in mind up until very recently all of those aircraft have not been in the picture to even do.

With that being said I don't think we need to worry about any of that until at least May 2020. Some sort of confirmation either way would be nice but I doubt you'll get that in this thread.

I kind of hope there will be campaigns coming out with the MIG - 19 (and later the 23), I was a little disappointed the harrier did not come with one. However there are a few good user campaigns out there for the harrier even in its still incomplete status.

Thank you for the update looking forward to seeing more.

Yea that's what I am expecting too. If any were to be bundled I would expect it to be the AV-8B NA & AV-8B+ though because of just how similar they are even according to the manual.

Nice to see. Thanks for keeping it up with these update videos. Very good to know what's going on and what's being worked on.

One little nitpick I have, though: I know it's meant to be more or less a podcast that happens to have a video as well, but I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate the video editing to be a little more to the point. As in, showing a the WIP on the F-15E in the video as you are pretty much wrapping the topic up in the interview, I felt that could be a bit more in sync maybe.

Nice info in that video. Thanks.

From the top of my head:

- New 3d scanning to improve the quality of the models

- Work on Harrier and Mirage continues

- M2000-5 and M2000-D planned in far future

- A lot of Ships and Planes planned for Falklands map

-------

All the people keep asking for capabilities to be modelled.... I want the limitations to be modelled.... limitations make for realistic simulation.

Great update guys, lots of stuff I'll be buying, thanks!

PS> I love the way ED & Razbam keep updating old code, essentially for free ... I bought into LOMAC years ago and the sim has come soooooo far, amazing. Much appreciated.

If you're doing HMS Hermes then I won't bother wasting my time updating mine.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

So is this not realistic to expect anymore or what's the deal with this?

If that's about the Mig-19 Squirrel it's been said relatively recently they expect to have it out this year.

I was shocked to first read that the F-15E was "months" away and the OCT update confirmed my suspicions. Based upon its' currnt state as outlined in the video, I wouldn't expect a release until 2020. Maybe late 2019 if they plan on a feature-minimum early access release.

Guys, look at all the previous modules released that were supposed to release in a certain timeframe, but did not quite make it... Yeah, that module.

A few months is probably not realistic. If it would, I'd be suprised and it would be a first. Set your expectations accordingly, I'd say.
