The Tornado announcement just induced fainting spells upon all the throngs begging for it on the Heatblur board.

Not gonna lie, its a first day buy for me 100%, but I'm wary of this recent upchuck of module announcements.   Here's to hoping these projects are well into their developement and testing regimes.    Or is this a way for module makers to get a place holder for the aircraft they want to make?

Looking forward to the new modules with excitement, though.

Not really the GR.1, it's a bit differend from the German/italian IDS but yeah, pretty similar

Like how different?

Can I just add some RAF liveries and pretend I'm doing a low level attack during Desert Storm?

Yeah, kind of.

If you use the classic loadout of x3 Mk.83 used during Gulf War it's pretty identical.

What really difference from adv?

ADV is a totally different machine. It's an AA platform with Skyflash missiles, different AA radar instead of the AG one, different engines, different cockpit...

I have never heard of AviaStorm ("avia" as in Panavia would indicate dedicated interest in the Tornado). Does anyone have more info on that company (link to their website, social media presence)? Did the company form specifically to create this module?

A planned Tornado is certainly great news, and I hope the team can produce an awesome module.

Yes, Yes! YES! Tornado incoming! I'm excited for all recent announcements, but this one simply rocks.

And it's the best variant possible being IDS from 1980s proper for Cold War scenarios Fulda Gap and Desert Storm and from the time when it was on the top of the foodchain in his domain! And the enviroment it was design to operate still existed. With mechanical moving map and half-analog avionics requiring skill and engaging to operate.

I wish AviaStorm a fantstic premiere in DCS!

First day purchase for me because it says 1989 in the advertising. 😁

My dream EF-2000 expansion was the Panavia Tornado and the Mig 1.42... so yeah, decades... I did later track down a copy of Digital Integration sim from 1993 on floppy disk but I couldn't get it to run reliably!
