Long term, the decision to delay is a good choice. I won't be singing praises to ED, but it's good that you still have an ounce of shame and self respect and you did not allow your mismanagment to fully destroy any and all hopes DCS could ever have at making Chinook and the new logistics system stick. I hope the delay will be at least a few months so you can raise the barebones EA standard that you were trying to setup currently. Please do the Chinook justice and release way more complete than you just attempted to. It will pay of in the long term. Community wants to be supportive, but it's oh so hard when you are being dishonest and non challant about what is an obvious attempt at rushing something out.

BN stated on ED Discord it's expected to be 2 weeks, so probably not much of new features

Irritating, but better later than sorry.

I think there is more than enough to do with the rest of the updates and the Afghanistan map, so let's be possitive.

Also it seems that the F-15E radar will be fixed, so either ED has managed to patch it, or RB has reacted.

well it sounds like, if you read between the lines from Ninelines post that the delay will be longer than 2 weeks. He states that they will keep us updated on a timely basis and have time to create a series of instructional videos. That sounds to me a bit longer than 2 weeks.

I'm not prone to it but the guy I work with is super allergic to it. Oatmeal baths and cortisone cream I think. I'll check.

 

*And the "oil" from poison ivy stays active for a long time. if it's on your shoes now, it will still be on your shoes months from now. Bleach is good. My buddy has even washed the are affect with strong bleach/water combo but that is only after a fresh infection.

Them not releasing means its broken enough to cause an uproar and some very disgruntled EA customers, there is no point in that as ED rep is quite low at the moment in the wider community.

2 weeks could fix a lot but id rather wait longer to get more EA features.

Even when it's released, you can still choose to wait longer to download it until it has the minimum number of features you require.

my dogs seem to be immune to the stuff so I never notice it, but looks like my foot was mauled by a bunch of mosquitos. the benefits of having rabbit dogs - ticks, poison ivy, ticks, mosquitos, ticks in the bed, the occasional rabbit...guess I should drown the dogs in the river now and get to playing DCS Again!

We take the oral drops to build up our tolerance to it. Our land is covered. 
but if we do break out, I use the athletes foot spray, Tinactin on it. It seems to help with the itching and dries them out.

This is probably my fault.  The CH-47 found out I pre-ordered and sabotaged it's own engines.  And avionics.  And graphics.  Please direct all vituperation my way.

Poison ivy, on the other hand.  If it's in the same county I'll find it.  Fell into some mountain biking, didn't realize it, and continued on up the trail.  Two days off work with weeping blisters all up and down my back and it turned into systemic urticaria.  Don't tell the CH-47; it will use poison ivy oil as engine lube if it finds out.

Look for jewel weed.   Should grow near the ivy.  Has orange flowers.   Mash up the stem and leaves and rub it on the affected area.   Should kill the itch.

I concur with this. The only thing I'd add is that it'd be nice if release dates weren't released until absolutely known. The way polychop released the OH-58 was a real breath of fresh air. No commitment. Then a hint and it actually released at that hint. And we have no idea if it was planned for previous releases and pushed back or not. It wasn't on the release radar until it was a definite. I'd love to see ED change their approach to announcements until they are 100% committed, or otherwise just surprise us on the day.

It won’t be more complete in two weeks. It gonna be what they said, just without the issue they fixing. 
My guess is if complete we look at minimum 6 month delay. I just can’t understand the logic, those wh will not have it in this state can just not install it.
