Seether1980 Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 Questionable, these delays keep happening. It doesn't exactly reflect a professional approach to patch management, despite all the love for the game and the company Eagle Dynamics. Please plan for more buffer time in the future and release the patch earlier if possible. This way, the community won't get as frustrated. 3

The thing is...what do you call "broken" ? Every single release and update breaks other stuff or ships with as yet undiscovered bugs........thats just the nature of the game. So waiting until its not "broken" is simply waiting for something that will never happen......I guess what you mean is less broken..... 4 System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
Q3ark Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 I’m glad they’re not pushing out bad patches just to hit a deadline. But, it might be a good idea to hire a decent project manager to run this stuff, it’s making them look like a bunch of amateurs. 5

Not if there is no announcement that there is a plan. It will work for future patches. Simply announce a date AFTER you have a tested and release ready patch. ED could even delay the patch for weeks if necessary and as soon as they have a patch ready announce the "planned" release of that exact build in a week from then. The development isn't impacted as that is done in seperate branches anyway. Thus no delays, patch will always drop on the planned release date a week after it is done. 9 Shagrat - Flying Sims since 1984 - Win 10 | i5 10600K@4.1GHz | 64GB | GeForce RTX 3090 - Asus VG34VQL1B | TrackIR5 | Simshaker & Jetseat | VPForce Rhino Base & VIRPIL T50 CM2 Stick on 200mm curved extension | VIRPIL T50 CM2 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Plus/Apache64 Grip | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | WW Top Gun MIP | a hand made AHCP | 2x Elgato StreamDeck (Buttons galore)

It's not even too many "irons", it's the self imposed pressure of release dates, way before a release is ready to be released. That doesn't mean there won't be any bugs in the patch, but it will stop the drama... 1 Shagrat - Flying Sims since 1984 - Win 10 | i5 10600K@4.1GHz | 64GB | GeForce RTX 3090 - Asus VG34VQL1B | TrackIR5 | Simshaker & Jetseat | VPForce Rhino Base & VIRPIL T50 CM2 Stick on 200mm curved extension | VIRPIL T50 CM2 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Plus/Apache64 Grip | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | WW Top Gun MIP | a hand made AHCP | 2x Elgato StreamDeck (Buttons galore)
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 4, 2024 Author ED Team Posted July 4, 2024 We know these delays are disappointing and we are sorry for them, but if we find issues that can not be fixed in time it would not be right to push the issue out to you folks. ricktoberfest Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 Saw a message from Wags on Reddit about this being the biggest patch ever. Anybody know what is included in this. I was under the assumption this was a normal patch that had bug fixing and release of CH-47 (delayed) and first part of Afghanistan 1
