This is a very interesting military conflict whos story is mostly unknown in the Western World. Both sides have very different Ideas of what happened, what caused the war etc. The war itself encompasses many different layers over its 5 day period from late August through early September of 2008, from COIN to large force on force firefights and armored clashes. This breadth of different engagements and the beautiful terrain of the Caucasus Mountains makes for a perfect map for a simulator such as DCS World!
