HiJack Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 anybody else thought of Ilya “Luthier” Shevchenko when reading this?? Can't be, he must be working on other projects? Or have IL2 CoD ended the development?
NRG-Vampire Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Can't be, he must be working on other projects? Or have IL2 CoD ended the development? don't worry, not only CoD developers are making new models for DCSW but RoF 3D artists too :)
Krupi Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) Can't be, he must be working on other projects? Or have IL2 CoD ended the development? Due to a lack of foresight at 1C he was given the boot and now the il2 trademark is in the hands of Jason and 777... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. hegykc Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 What a great announcement! They'll be covering the WWII aviation era! Best next 5 years in sim history? Check! And they have experienced 3rd party developers! And they better have, because we WWII enthusiasts would have become public enemy number one :) It was bad enough with the P-51D, now the new WWII modules would be blamed for everything :) www.replikagear.com
NRG-Vampire Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 http://fighter-collection.com/cft/564-2/ i think that  list/collection was JimMack's DCS-modules dream

Phantom88 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Maybe "The New Partner" is actually Jason of 777 Studios? I've seen him post here......Could be They are developing Their new WWII Sim "Battle over Stalingrad" and at same time making new models for DCS? Remember,While Coders are busy writing new sim code,Modelers need to keep busy also;) Patrick
NRG-Vampire Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Remember,While Coders are busy writing new sim code,Modelers need to keep busy also;) i do not think so (maybe with cockpits) they already have the perfect, animated external 3D model in max , so they "only" need to save/export as EDM extension of course they must know each arg number meaning

ED Team NineLine Posted April 27, 2013 ED Team Posted April 27, 2013 That's a good thing, right? Slayer Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 You think jet simmers are bad , wait til the WWII purists start coming...In the back of my mind I can already hear the bickering about WEP, bullets, fuel octane and aircraft performance. Ah well at the end of the day it's all good , just shows how passionate people still are about sims in general...
