A bit more time, so I can see the problem with proportions that is still there and concerns the front wheel. You can clearly see the difference, After the change, the model still sits too low. Here I have a quite similar shot from the near same angle. Now look for the proportion, the main gear is near 90% of fuselage (below canopy), the height even reaches the antenna/pitot tube if you take straight line: Proportion in the model (too short): Hope it helps. Like the real one! -
I find it astonishing that hardly anyone seems to use the “slider” option. It is only logical to use “slider” for all axis that do not use a center point and “+” and “-” (Pitch, Roll, Yaw for example) but go from “0” to “100”. Throttle or brakes, for example, are such a case, rotary controls, etc. I have been using the “slider” option for this type of axis for years.

I work with pretty high res color point clouds on a daily basis (Plant Design/Industry). I did some testing in VR few years back (using software called Scene) and the results were pretty astonishing. It was a pretty raw scan, no manual adjusting and/or additional 3D modeling. Performance was amazingly smooth on my old GTX1080TI and visuals were, well, photorealistic. Major downside though, is size. Even small/simple pointclouds can be enormous in size. 500mb per 3D scan file is pretty normal in our line of work (for games I can imagine they're even higher res) and to capture for instance an entire cockpit, you'll need a few of those scans. So scanning a whole village (let alone a DCS sized map) isn't realistic at the moment.

last update, they introduced a new behavior for faster ai planes. for example a p51 will try to extend away from a spitfire for a while then turn for a head on snapshot pass.

I'm having the same findings. Although I agree its cheating the RPM trick is giving it better combat performance so I am using it as the figures seem closer to published in terms of speeds. Just flown for over 40 mins maximum throttle as described couple of posts back, after 15 mins green light come on saying I have 3 mins of water left. 10 mins later i'm still flying 270 kts maximum throttle & RPM light still on. So I try the RPM trick to see if the water will exhaust. But after a further 25 mins the engine finally overheated. Green light was still on. On this basis I agree with Felixx the RPM bug does not appear to be adding water injection. Look overall I'm enjoying the module and think there's a lot about it that's been really well done. I just hope that they acknowledge these findings and work on them.

First attempt was without hook. After that, three successful carrier traps in a row. Almost too easy? Or am I that good?! Hits and bda I guess is a bug!? Touchdowns were hard, but not that hard to damage the carrier deck. What are the numbers in parentheses in details column (27, 20, 18, 16)?

Sector 5, intersection in grid A3 is the grid i highlighted in red right? Or am I missing something.

I actually do use mirrors so turning them off is not an option for me. I can also see the head movement depending on the module (F-14 looks great) but the reflection is still wrong and unrealistic more or less in every module.

Here's a video I recorded trying to put it through its paces. You can see the inability to accelerate in level flight. I cycled cooling doors to verify. Also tried different super charger settings. I can get it up to higher speeds by diving but once level, or after bleeding speed by maneuvering it doesn't recover well. And WEP seems to have 0 effect. Light eventually comes on but I never notice any increase or decrease in power. I didn't use it at all in this video. I can't say for sure there's something wrong, but the airplane feels really anemic at mill power and the figures in the early-access manual included with the module implies much higher speeds (I understand CAS vs IAS as well, it doesn't account for the difference). /shrug I'm giving up troubleshooting it and will fly around it, but definitely feels underpowered at mil power and WEP seems ineffictive.

Sure…I was just confused… I don‘t think they will restock that adapter ever again though. They are established on the market now. It was probably a consideration back then, to make their bases more appealing to people who already had a Warthog stick and just wanted a base. -

I've seen that, but frankly I'm sceptical. The wingspan is reduced by less than 2%, and the wing area well under 1%. Could easily just be placebo effect. Even in the real aircraft, trying to measure such effects would be difficult, and most likely overwhelmed by other variables.

Essex front elevator "open" and will not close

Also having the same issue from time to time. The elevator mostly goes down during takeoff run when Im rolling over it. In this case it causes a crash almost every time because the gear smashes into the front edge of the elevator-hole. Also having a problem with catching the wire on the deck. 2 days ago it worked perfectly fine with around 5-10 landings in a row. Played 2-3 hrs today with not one single wire catched. -

I agree, this is my first big regret on buying modules...isn't the flight model the first thing you want to get right? How could they fly this and agree to release it they way it is? This is not good at all.
