The Mirage F1 is basically 4 modules in one (once the F1-M is done) so bang for buck is big. Mig-29 may seem awesome, but early access is bound to have bugs and it could just collect dust due to frustration. I don't own the F14, I trial it every so often but have not purchased it. I'd say if you want to do naval stuff, F14 otherwise Mirage F1 -

Well, if it's BVR what you're after, go with the king, Tomcat + Phoenix combination. Con: you're not doing much radar wise, it's all down on Jester. Mirage F1 doesn't have a very capable radar so your experience will be limited. It has a very good SARH missile tho (the smaller one, can't remember the name). The FC MiG-29 is BVR capable but its systems are extremely simplified, like all FC planes. But it has a very interesting selection of R-27 variants.

In the pilot seat from a cold start the George AI menu states Ready System in red. Thats all I get. What is the new procedure to get George to work after a cold start. George.trk

I noticed this as well today in my initial testing when the patch first came out. I removed all mods, ran a full repair, and once that was completed with no errors, I ran the quick mission for the straight-in carrier landing. Everything ran great until the hook caught and once I came to a full stop I got the boot. Sent the report, and here is my log file dcs.20250724-005715.log -

Exactly not Most guys are absolutely happy with the implementation of the Sniper ATP. But in contrast to this realistic implementation it becomes more and more clear to a lot more players that the Litning pod is not modeled well. Thats all, I think!

I noticed the same problem. The WPN display just says "HANDING OFF" but it never does. -
Ok, so from reading other posts this frequency is now used by a new map assest in cyprus i think if i read it correctly. Did you ever consider changing the frequency in your campaign so that we don't end up going to cyprus instead of home because it doesn't point you towards Naquora, i can tell you that. Just finished mission 5 on the first attempt so thanks for fixing that issue. The helipad was in pitch darkness, i'm surprised they don't have any lighting they can switch on so you see pad 5, that'd be nice, I just used the search light on the chopper but it feels unnecessarily difficult given the difficulty of landing on the boat. But please fix the NDB at the base, I hate using the kneeboard for navigation it feels like cheating

I don't get it, there was a bunch of talk about how the LITENING has had unrealistically clear overall image but especially the digital zoom for years. The new ATP implements the digital zoom realistically, and people are upset that it isn't as good as the LITENING?

With today's release of the AN/AAQ-33 ATP for the F-16C, I was playing around with laser guided bombing and noticed an odd bug - the LASER menu on the DED ICP is not displayed fully on my WinWing ICP. Please see the photo below: It's a little out of focus but the omission is obvious. At the top is the in-game display and at the bottom is my WinWing ICP display. It's missing the A-G and A-A laser modes. Interacting with the WinWing ICP does clearly select and change the options in-game for A-G and A-A laser modes, but the line of A-G and A-A laser modes is just not shown. I find this very weird as every menu seems to display fully and the old TGP doesn't have these laser mode options as far as I'm aware, so the LASER menu displays correctly for it. It's just when using the new AN/AAQ-33 ATP. Thank you!

Shouldn't this topic be merged with the topic of cyclic ops? The wish here is something that is included in the cyclic ops that are always carried out when an aircraft carrier conducts air ops. In other words, if cyclic ops are realized, the wish discussed here will naturally be realized on a higher level.

I also noticed this with Litening previously but I didn't report it as I thought with Sniper they would revise and test everything anyway so that should be corrected. It's a strange topic, compare Wags video Part 1 and 2 for ATP. In the first one , the cooridantes are going crazy but in the second one they are very steady.

I'm curious if the newer (encrypted) sound engine can allow for sound changes based on oil/intercooler flap positions. The older system (pre-encryption) didn't allow for much finesse with tuning sound variables. -
Yeah I tested the both pod too. And the Litening is far superior then the Sniper ATP. Thats unrealistic of course but thats how it is at the moment. Especially when slewing the pod the Litning has always the super sharp and clear view even with most digital zoom. Dont get me wrong: I like the implementation of the sniper very much, the reality isnt that easy and I like how it is modeled - as real as it gets! But Im afraid that nobody will take the Sniper ATP as long as the Litning is that unrealisticly modeled and that far superior. The Litning Pod needs to be refined in my opinon!

Done. This feature was a long asked question from the community. Mod makers are licking their fingers after it. But it comes with a cost. It opens up options that can be critical for the users of DCS World, so ED had to do something. Sure, there are better ways of doing it. But the enhanced security was indeed needed. It is 2 lines you add to your autoexec.cfg, so I am pretty sure one can survive that. And no, I am not going into detail what potential this call has, for reasons. -
The most complicated part will be switching between Radar and IRST lock. It’s pretty complex all the different ways it can be done.

I remember how at some point ED implemented the TGP needing a full restart (manually chin station power off/on) after rearming on ground (since its counted as a new TGP). Now the AAQ-33 isn't affected by this. Landing with a working ATP and then rearming doesn't affect the AAQ-33 at all. It simply continues to operate just fine. I have no idea if this is intended to work differently for the ATP now (well thanks if it is, so we don't have to endure the ATP's 12 minutes initialization after each rearming) but in case ED has simply forgotten to apply the same logic as with the AAQ-28, I just wanted to give notice

I bought a 5090, but sold my 4090 for a lot of money, after almost 3 years of use. The performance increase in VR is definitely noticeable, worth the upgrade. -
