    Right, where's that quality in my Tomcat? Major gamebreaking bugs left for years, crawling development and maintenance since new cash cows showed up on the horizon, unrealistic implementations... Both ED, RAZABAM and HB create top notch modules - none is caring them well. About WSO - it was planned in later development and yes, it's needed and welcome. Contrary to the Tomcat though you don't actually require one to fly and fight, so players rarely miss him.

It definitely would be nice to have a handful of different objects for this kind, but doing it there, they would have to also multiply other objects and the map size will explode even more I'm very pleased with the map. I encountered Hammelburg training area yesterday. Awesome compromise for the game aspect. Did some Hind flights in Colditzer Heide training area before where's open wide flat land and Hammelburg you have the small hills and training houses located between them. Need to improve Apache flying skills to faster stop behind hill tops tree lines and such things for cover.

  9. Right now, our entire focus is on the Sniper, while we would like to do another pod, it will just depend on time and resources.

  13. Ahh... now that makes more sense from what west Germany pilot commentary was referring to on the radar to pilot interface. I never understood it quite from the the FC3 version because I feel it gave you as the pilot still a large degree of autonomy, but definitely now with how it is laid out the pilot does seem to be quite held to following the hud cues to get into position for firing the radar guided misslies rather then be able to have the target be highlighted on the hud, and somewhat organically do the interception based on feel. Which is fine if you sending up lots of jets for a intercept against waves of targets that are flying in a predictable manner and are trying to win an attrition fight, but limits the ability for you to quickly "feel" the target and adapt to it's rapid changes without a bunch of work arounds

  15. Barring the flight changes, it's got about all its currently listed early-access features. We've yet to receive the RFI (and the cued search function with it), the Terrain Profiling Mode for the FCR, and (initially but no longer indicated), red/orange marking rockets; Multi-Purpose Submunition (MPSM) rockets; and flechette rockets (and hopes of a more granular, thorough implementation of selectable rocket zones for the pods).

  17. The crucial thing is that they were all different. There was no single standardized water tower as the map suggests. Especially not in East and West.

An Essex generic scb125's livery "CV-9 USS ESSEX" folder isn't updated from 0.4.1 time. and other four ships' liveries folders (CV-14, 16, 19, 34) have each dds files but not loaded by each description.lua files. I don't know these description.lua contents (only one line "cv31_ship_registry_number" is written) are correct as planned or not. When correct one, other unloaded CV-XX Clean.dds, CV-XX OUTLINE.dds and island_signs BLACK 2.dds files are needless to be placed --- better to remove. If those one line description.lua are temporary file and planned as drawing different deck lines or tones in the future, I think better to write loading those dds files in description.lua by false flags.
  19. Whenever I spawn in an aircraft, I get a periodic spike in frame time every 6 seconds with a corresponding drop in frame rate. I have tried every recommendation I could find, but cannot reduce or eliminate the problem. When I am a spectator, there is no problem. As soon as I spawn into a cockpit, the problem starts. I do not have this problem in single player.

Trying not to kick the hornets nest hear so pulling in the experts, but I thought WAGS mentioned recently the NTTR map was in the pipeline for a future update, just no details or time frame yet. Can anyone from ED confirm this so I am not spreading false hope. Pretty sure I heard that though in one of the many ED interviews I watched. @Wags @BIGNEWY @NineLine If I am not imaging this, could you possibly expand on what might be considered for the expansion.
  23. Have you only seen this on MP? I've tried to reproduce it in a SP mission to no avail. For me it happens randomly but only after landing then taking off again and so far, only online. But if you've seen it in SP, I'll try landing and taking off over and over offline until I get it.
