  1. Gotta love it when a 'tester' tells someone that their problem does not exist because he does not see it and, for that reason alone, will not be reported. The physics of binocular vision, in a VR headset, has nothing to do with IPD but is directly tied to the spacing of the two virtual cameras used to generate a 3d perception. The fact that some devs choose to ignore this reality does not make it correct.
  2. The creature was a metaphor for the audience. ;)
  3. Waste of developer resources. Also, are your joystick and pedals compatible with your console gaming system?
  4. Fly an FC3 aircraft and you will get different results. This is a bug that has existed since before DCS World was released.
  5. Not quite correct. After you use all of your activations, a 30 day clock starts. When the clock hits zero, you get a single activation. That activation is all you will get until you use it. Once you use it, the 30 day clock starts again after which you will receive another activation. It is also worth noting that deactivations do not replenish so using them only when you need to is wise.
  6. The root problem is that the aircraft was designed for a ten man crew. A lot of very good AI would need to be developed to support the pilot/player in charge.
  7. Congrats on the new machine, and the new house, Cibit. I am trying to hold off on a new build (two of them actually) until the middle of next year. I want to see how v2.5 behaves on my current sim system first before replacing it. My non-flight sim gaming rig is based on an i7-3820 and is also due for an upgrade. I would love to do the non-sim rig sooner but I just dropped $7k on a new heating system for the house, since the old one was leaking, so I am trying to be financially sensible. Enjoy your new toys.
  8. @Nick (Cobra) I have given you a lot of grief in the past years for a variety of things. I also supported the hell out of the Mig-21 project by donating money (that you never got) and purchasing four copies just to give them away. The Viggen held no interest for me so I have not purchased it, yet. Having looked over the artwork for the F-14, several times, I have to say that you are beginning to impress me again. I wish you good luck with your efforts in the coming year and I will definitely be purchasing this aircraft as soon as it is possible.
  9. Do what I did, back when the A-10C was it's own sim. Set up a separate landing mission for each airfield and fly it, repeatedly. I did it to help me learn how to land the A-10C but it was also helpful in learning the airfields and the surrounding terrain.
  10. It already does that. I suspect that there is a lot of base code changes. The portable stuff is going to be in the modules and not the base sim. However, even if the data is copied from the other installation which would still save no space, nobody would be happy if the files were 'moved' so that the source installation became broken.
  11. I doubt the audio was the primary aim of the video. Besides, we are talking about an early look at an early access product.
  12. Indeed. Time is money. TIR may cost more but it works right out of the box. ED tracker is only 3dof so it cannot even be compared.
  13. Why should a module be cheaper for those that own another module? How does this make sense? Has anyone ever bought a car that was cheaper because they already owned a similar model of that car?
  14. Agreed. Documentation for a product is vital and should not be seen as something to be taken care of long after most of the sales have occured.
  15. 9 months later.... *crickets*
  16. I am sure that it will get sorted eventually, just like the Mig-21 backer t-shirt rewards. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=184858
  17. Do they have the license from ED?
  18. Any number of executive jets would qualify, as well. :P
  19. What does that have to do with who it is purchased from?
  20. I am sorry, for that price it is lacking too many things. Hall sensors for a big one and a mounting system for a smaller one. The price bothers me far less than the shortcomings.
  21. It may easily be worth that amount to someone with no desire to purchase the stick as well. There are not a lot of vendors selling the throttle by itself. Personally, I have three sticks and two throttles, so I am all good. ;)
  22. I would ask for a refund since every other aircraft is 100% complete.
  23. So you expect things to go downhill after that? In what ways?
  24. You are wrong. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2016-12-23_Christmas/
