  1. Finally beat mission 12 on the 4th attempt. I initially thought this was a bit too difficult, but in the end think it was about the right mix. You are really forced to stay high and keep your SA (Like Davey says on the ingress to the target area) If you do that it's achievable. I also ended up swapping out the weapons load for 3x CBU-105s, 1x CBU-97, APKWS, and 4 Mavs. That made a big difference with being able to eliminate the massive troop spawns in a timely fashion. Great mission!!
  2. Apologize if this is already been asked, but is there a key bind for turning on and off the radar altimeter? and can we get one added for the UHF radio to be able to turn it through the different modes, transmit and receive guard etc. thanks!
  3. Sedlo I’m having a DCS crash every time on mission 4 called “retribution” - one time it crashed while I was still in the orbit and getting ready to push and the next three times it crashed when I was within 20 seconds of releasing my bombs on the bunker. Downloaded latest version yesterday and still have the issue. Any ideas? Let me know if you need like logs or something. thanks! SOB
  4. Thanks for the quick turn! My bindings were jacked this am, but alas I can fix them tonight now!
  5. SOLD Purchased last month. Orion 2 base with MFSSB pre-installed. Just couldn't get used to the force sensing after flying with normal gimbal for so long. Purchased the normal Orion 2 base to use instead so the MFSSB version is for sale. MFSSB base is in brand new condition - used for about 1 hour total. Plugged in and updated firmware - everything works as advertised. Unit will ship with all factory accessories included in the WinWing Orion 2 box - I no longer have the MFSSB box - but they're identical. $275, Buyer pays shipping. Will Ship anywhere in the lower 48 States (CONUS). Shipping from Arizona. PayPal for payment.
  6. Copy Baltic- thanks! I don’t envy you, mission creators, and the bug chasing you must spend a majority of your time doing, but we appreciate the immersion your mission bring!
  7. Yep! Confirmed happens for me as well. After he takes off at the tanker, he never rejoined and the mission never progresses, so I can never make it to the point to see if he will ever break away for the intercept training.
  8. Well - I just tried again post patch - using VR so MT version of game - smoke takes off as soon as I finish refueling - my player voice tells him to refuel and he hits burner and heads back to the ship…never to be seen again so the good news is the bug is fixed. The bad news is the game never progresses to the point where the bug would occur again.
  9. Mine is set for Low Filter Cutoff Button (On/depressed) High Cutoff set to 80Hz and volume around 24-25. Anything more than that and I get a thumping/rattling sound instead of a rumble. I need to mess around with my settings a bit more, but best option is to just play around with it as each rig is different.
  10. I noticed it today as well I'm assuming and hoping this is a bug...
  11. A buddy picked up the G2 and brought it over to my house where we compared my G1 to his G2. Ultimately after that shootout, I opted to keep my G1 for (IMO) a slight performance increase by being able to use the lower PD/SS for the same visual experience (again... only IMO). The G2 felt a bit more comfortable, but my G1 works for me as is. YMMV, just my .02 cents etc, etc.... Now if my G1 shits the bed, than yeah... I'll pickup the G2
  12. Ran repair..seems to be working in 2d /non vr now...will try back in VR but assuming it's fixed now...
  13. Tried it with no luck. Blue cross cursor disappears when I click left Alt C... But when I hit Left Alt C again the blue cross comes back, but still nothing is clickable. This is only happening in the Hornet. So Far P-47, F-14, A-10, Spitfire, Harrier, F-5 all work without issue. I'm only experiencing this issue in the hornet at the moment.
  14. @BIGNEWY is there a fix for this? I'm playing in VR and I experience the same issue in the hornet.. Spitfire and A-10C2 clickable cockpit work fine. Hornet no clickable cockpit. What am I supposed to set resolution to and where? In game resolution matches my desktop resolution and I still can't click anything in the hornet cockpit.
  15. no....not at all
  16. If you tell them to use rockets they say unable and then RTB...
  17. I agree! When I built my button box I wanted to utilize the rotaries because they are more flexible - vs the rotary dials. I think I can get by by binding each rotary to AAP Steerpoint Selector Knob: Flight Plan/Mission vs CW/CCW etc.. I'll be missing a few bindings but can probably make it work.
  18. Has anyone had any luck, or would it even be possible to add bindings in the A-10C2 for: AAP Steerpoint Selector Knob CW & CCW AAP CDU Selector Knob CW & CCW CMS Mode Selector CW & CCW I'd like to use rotary encoders to be able to switch between the respective modes, but don't see a binding or a way in clickable data to enable that functionality? thanks!
  19. No problem.. Thanks for looking! I was definitely scratching my head on this one and like a good student, I wanted to show the teacher my work... LOL.. OK, swapping that switch back to an On/Off/On as I'm encountering many modules that seem to require that functionality for canopy controls.
  20. I've got another one that's stumping me right now for the FW-190A8. I've recently updated my button box and the canopy is only an on/off switch. I'm trying to get the switch to close the canopy when pressed, and open the canopy when "un-pressed". I haven't seen these before. This is what I'm trying but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! {pressed = device_commands.Button_2, released = device_commands.Button_2, cockpit_device_id = devices.CPT_MECH, value_pressed = 1.0, value_released = -1.0, name = _('Canopy Closing else Opening'), category = _('Systems')},
  21. You can create the folder with the directory structure as outlined and DCS will see the mod = no problem
  22. @imacken, Thanks again for this excellent tutorial. I've done all the steps with the exception of the routine outlined above. Do you have any screenshots of where you adjusted these values quoted above? Thanks!
  23. Yes @imacken great piece of kit!...my CM3 throttle arrived yesterday and I've been absolutely thrilled with it...I've had a virpil stick and base for a few years but I really underestimated how much I would absolutely love this throttle.. been on the warthog throttle for over 3 years and was wondering and worrying about having the right keybinding options but can't believe what a leap ahead this is over the warthog..Thanks for the detailed tutorial as it was smooth sailing getting everything configured...man oh man loving this throttle!
  24. easy for you LOL.. As always.. Thanks!
