  1. Happens if you lost a track in auto, enter bias mode, fiddle with elevation to search and then aquire a new target. The radar will input some elevation on top of what was already applied by the pilot, which makes the radar go too high or too low.
  2. From time to time here as well. Usually if I've been shot down and the screen goes black, before i respawn.
  3. g limit in the Hornet is weight dependent and not a "one size fits all". FCS page will show available g at all times. The viper on the other hand is AoA limited in cat 3 but not G limited AFAIK.
  4. Apply some deadzones if you haven't. Or increase the ones applied.
  5. I discovered this a few days ago too. Didn't notice the azimuth to be wrong, but elevation is. It seems like the 70° page is showing elevation as more than what it shows on the radar page. 30° looks to be right, while the <30° shows smaller values than what radar shows.
  6. Yes, i see that one. But the one from the F-35 cons, while the F-35 doesn't. But as i wrote, just a thought.
  7. Just a thought, but could it be that these motors where intentional smoking to be easily observable during testing? They seem to produce an awful lot of smoke right at launch, where as the launching platform is not.
  8. Being supersonic when launching helps on top speed as well so the missile doesn't have to waste energy breaking the sound barrier.
  9. Yes. It's in the patch notes. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/
  10. That would be the ''diiiw diiiw'' warning. There is also the ''altitude altitude'' on one of the HSI sub pages (maybe A/C?) as well, which is default at 5000ft iirc.
  11. The AoA sensor on the F-16 rotates as well. Never thought much about it.
  12. Refueling will stop once max internal capacity has been reached, which means that the lower the internal fuel when asking for a refuel, the more time the externals have to receive fuel thus they will get more. I usually dump the tanks before landing unless i'm very low on fuel.
  13. F-4E!!! That would be the perfect aircraft to be shot down in! I don't think I would fly anything else, ever, if we really got the F-4E. Somehow I still fear there is a translation error somewhere.
  14. TCS switch in the middle (independent) position in RIO pit
