  1. this is still present in current OB happened after i shut down and restarted left engine, instead of right engine as OP says.
  2. yeah, in current DCS version there is no visual effect at all. but it used to be there in the past. maybe ED removed it.
  3. i have had jhmcs disabled using recce button and then being unable to turn it back on. holding recce again and turning the symbology knob down and up did nothing. happened only once in multiplayer. not sure if its the same bug but it sounds like it.
  4. same here but as far as i know, it was always like that. hornet radar was never usable against helis in my experience. if you hate yourself, try to shoot down a heli with aim-7. i suspect the game models the radar behaviour merely for the heli body, not taking the rotors into account. so it may enter doppler filter range when flying slowly or hovering perhaps?
  5. its a different coordinate format DD°MM'SS.SS" vs DD°MM.MMMM' you can change coordinate format for HSI page to be the same as the JDAM/JSOW/SLAM page on the HSI/AC subpage.
  6. i found it in one of my vids on YT, more than month ago. it happens only when i rotate camera very fast, but rarely. though seems to be a different bug than what this thread talks about, so we better not go offtopic. if you know how to replicate it, please make a new thread about it. i will try to make a track too.
  7. i have seen these too a few times since 2.7
  8. just informing that this is still present in todays update
  9. hi this is on todays update. i was testing out the new changes, as you can see in this short trackfile. look at the trackfiles, their count, their types and their ranks - each page show something entirely different. the best part is that there were 2 planes but im getting 1 trackfile on az/el, 3 on sa, 4 on attk rdr. i suspect some of those are missiles. hornet_trackfile_madness.trk
  10. Yes, this was debated in the past multiple times. ED says its correct. Doesnt make any sense to me personally. i tried to replicate this and i get point track symbol and OPR diamond simultaneously after SCSing with point track cursor. Huh.
  11. it is implemented but its quite buggy. causes lots of trouble in pre-gps missions.
  12. i confirm this
  13. anti-(space)ship missile
  14. hi flappie, im aware it works with onroad. yes. that is what i was reporting, maybe i wasnt clear in OP. the tankgroup should be able to properly cross the bridge as part of their offroad pathfinding. they correctly compute the bridge as part of their path over the river but fail driving over it. this is the bug.
  15. duplicate, larger thread here:
  16. i was playing raven one mission 4, successfuly finished it and ran mission 5. this is what i saw. the sea is reflecting clouds even though the mission has clear sky. i then restarted the game and the issue was gone. i then again run mission 4 from mission editor, exited, ran mission 5 and saw this again. this time white instead of black.
  17. hi, was this ever fixed? i cant find it. sorry if im stupid.
  18. hello i cant prove this is wrong but it is suspect track: broken, im unable to replicate otherwise but ill keep trying
  19. i had it happen with spitfire in the initial 2.7 version once. not sure if its the same exact bug tho, could be airport issue etc.
  20. raven one mission 2 appears to be unplayable because of this bug
  21. trackfiles are not compatible across dcs versions. you have to replay in the same dcs version as the version used for the recording. if it works otherwise, thats merely accidental. i dont know if you know it, but the trackfile only records your input. its all resimulated. error accumulates over time which means things like a missile you dodged resulting in missile hitting when replayed, or you landing a bit off. not really a bug, just limitation of this technology.
