  2. Hi, some advice from the past in the following lines, and If I remember in R1 in some long missions, you should be able to save and exit and when you take again the campaign you start where you saved behind the tanker with full gas situation and you can continue the sortie. My personal experience As many of you already point out, practice... practice... At the beginning I started having some noticeable result when start looking at the right visual reference points, not the basket, as well explained and demonstrated on the TUT. Head track helps. I don't have VR. I prefer to turn down HUD brightness (during daytime, night switch is perfect) I think is less distracting. I have a couple of setup I use with the same laptop, so muscle memory can't help when switching between, anyway no big dead zone (3 to 10) and some curves, more on roll axis (the higher on the cheapest, but still honest T16000 set) and easier when a throttle system is available instead the little slider.
  3. just to be sure, have you done all the Radio Communication sequence right?
  4. I've just realized that the SU25T is a free Module so you should have with DCS also its Flight Manual here: \Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World (OpenBeta)\Mods\aircraft\Su-25T\Doc inside the manual you can find the RADIO COMMUNICATIONS AND MESSAGES Chapter at page 36 till page 43.
  5. To give you an example you'll find such explanation: Message to: Flight or Wingmen Command: Engage... Sub Command: My Target Definition of Command: Player requests wingmen to attack the target that is the focus of a sensor (radar or EOS) or padlock. When the target is destroyed, wingmen will return to formation. Response(s) to Command: If wingman is capable of carrying out this command, he will respond "(x) Copy," "(x) Roger," or "(x) Affirm," where (x) is the flight member. If wingman is incapable of carrying out command, he will respond, "(x) Negative," or "(x) Unable," where (x) is the flight member.
  6. If you have Flaming Cliffs 3, in the PDF manual at Chapter 10 there is a nice reference to RADIO COMMUNICATIONS AND MESSAGES, I believe you'll find there all the answers. I do not know if I can share it here. But if possible a moderator will provide it, or give a link to it. cheers
  7. Hi, i was trying to replicate something similar for my Weapons kneeboard/QRH, but found that you can use pretty much this one as a reference as the value for -402 are the same with some little difference (by 1Kt) in rare case. At the end you could just change the reference on this and put F404-GE-402 on it with no worries to use it on DCS.
  8. Thanks a lot for this fantastic campaign. I played and finished it some time ago, but wanted to write some lines as you deserve it. You all did a great job, very realistic feel, keeping in mind the boundaries of the platform. As a very basic user of DCS Mission Editor, knowing some of its limitation, I was really pleased to fly this very well done piece of art, I didn't had the book when flying it, and lately bought it to complete the loop, I still have to go through it anyway. I wish to see some other work like this in the near future. The money are well invested in product like this. Keep up the great work! cheers
  9. I'm trying to updating it as best as I can, and this is good cause it's a sign that this nice F18 is still pretty much cared and updating too Unfortunately that's not something planned soon, I'm sorry about that. I wish i could have some more time to study/fly new module and produce some new QRH for self-training, whenever and if that happen will be my pleasure to share it with you all. I've got almost all the main module in DCS (F14,F16,A10C, Spitfire...), but not flying them so much, let's say I did that just to support the great work of ED and Partners, the F18 is the (only) one I fly most whenever I got the chances to spend some spear time on DCS, sometimes a little taste of F14 supercarrier fun, but that's it. Thanks for the feedback sir!

  11. Thank You very much. Your Guides are very useful, and a must have.
  12. It's there, Mission 4, Second Kneeboard page, under KEYWORDS section, second column, 3rd line. HELICOPTER -> Flashlight  You can also have a preview look in the Raven One Campaign DOCS DCS Directory MAIN DCS FOLDER....\Mods\campaigns\FA-18C Raven One\Doc About the coords: just use the Jtac format and I suggest you to put them on a new Waypoint by UFC. for example insert waypoint 10.. and then set all the info needed for it. remember to insert also the TGT elevation in Feet MSL XXX and coord in this format NXX-XX-XX EXX-XX-XX after that set up JDAM as TOO mode. Then you can slave the TGP to the new waypoint so you can check and define better the point. So the TOO coord of JDAM will be also updated and spot on.

  14. Hi, you should map the VPC throttle “switch down position” to a button in VPC software, then you can assign/bind the new button in DCS control config. As the “switch down position” was not mapped in VPC software, to any button by default. Note: Be careful to operate the VPC software, at the beginning I did some mess and just once I messed up all my previous button config, but was my mistake, and fixed it by reassign all the button to DCS again, nothing shocking. 15. Ciao, se ti riferisci a questo: DCS F-14B by Heatblur NEW - Added Jester Audio option via headphones. Set RWR, walkman, radar altimeter tone and sidewinder tone to go via headphones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
